NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2010 Timberwolves Jonny Flynn
Second-time camper Brennen Scott Brennen Scott 6'1" | PG Oak Ridge | 2024 TN registered the second-best Lane Agility time (11.14 seconds). The speed he owns was applicable too. Scott dashed up the floor, easily creating separation in the open floor. Scott’s sprint time was also second-best on the day (2.87 seconds over 65′).
Scott needs to incorporate his speed and burst more creatively in the halfcourt. Flying off of screens, using a curl, sprinting the baseline are all ideas for Scott to get that needed separation.
Scott is a very, very smooth finisher with either hand. Composed around the basket. On a handful of defensive possessions Brennen tried to leak out instead of sticking it out on the possession.
Kaleb Walker Kaleb Walker 6'3" | PG Powell | 2024 State TN | 6’3″ SG/PG | Powell | 2024
How did he measure against the competition?
- Class of 2024
- Hand Span — 8.5″
- Hand Length — 7.5″
- Standing Reach — 97″ or 8’1″
- 3/4 Court Sprint (65′ not 75′ NBA distance) — 3.16, 3.15
- Lane Agility — 12.87, 12.95
- Camp Ranking — #36
- State Ranking — Top 150
NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2022 Timberwolves Austin Rivers
Consistent lower body balance in the shot preparation. Walker is fully capable of playing either guard position effectively at the high school level.
Kaleb played his Summer 2022 with Tennessee Primetime AAU.
Regarding straightline speed, Kaleb showed well (3.16, 3.15).
Ideally, Kaleb will improve his Lane Agility time (12.87, 12.95) with more training focus on plyometrics, and drills focused on lateral mobility. His shooting skill will be even more effective if he can create an added cushion of separation with improved quickness prior to the shot.
