Featuring a group loaded with backcourt shooting, Mesa Ridge will be a funky matchup for teams, attempting a staggering 658 three pointers last season.

Tevin Riehl Tevin Riehl 6'0" | CG Mesa Ridge | 2024 State CO – Combo Guard
Riehl has repeatedly proven himself as one of the top marksmen within the state’s hoops scene. Although only standing roughly 5’11, there are few guards who can match Riehl’s efficiency for the volume, knocking down 45% of his 140 three point attempts. Riehl is so efficient due to the combination of quick foot speed while relocating for shots and absurd upper body contortion on attempts. Throughout the guard’s sophomore season, her made 3+ three pointers on ten seperate occassions. Riehl has showcased incredibly tough shotmaking, notably making pull up jumpers well beyond the arc. This past season at Mesa Ridge, Riehl averaged 15 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game.
Tanner Widic Tanner Widic 6'0" | PG Mesa Ridge | 2024 State CO – Point Guard
Widic brings pure physicality at the lead guard spot, while boasting upside as a shooter and playmaker. The incoming junior has been a steady contributor for Mesa Ridge, averaging 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game while contributing nearly 44% of his three point attempts. The lead guard is capable bullying his way to the rim, where he can leverage that space to find perimeter shooters. Widic could be a versatile defender given his positional strength, potentially being a capable defender in the post versus a range of forwards.
Terrell Moorer Jr Terrell Moorer Jr 6'2" Mesa Ridge | 2023 CO – Guard
The guard has the ball on a string going either direction, likely adding a bit of juice off the dribble to a methodical team. The lead guard put up 13.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2 steals per game while attempting 101 of the team’s 423 free throws. With a group full of excellent spot up shooters, Moorer will have ample opportunities to be a high volume playmaker. While there will likely be plenty of three guard lineups, Moorer will benefit from this group’s excellent spacing. Featuring three key guards who shot 40% or better from beyond the arc, Moorer will have plenty of space to create inside the arc.
Bryce Riehl Bryce Riehl 6'0" | CG Mesa Ridge | 2025 State CO – Shooting Guard
Bryce Riehl Bryce Riehl 6'0" | CG Mesa Ridge | 2025 State CO immediately demonstrated elite efficiency from the floor within a low usage role. Now a sophomore guard, Riehl had himself an excellent freshman season, posting 6.5 points while contributing 43% of his three point attempts. On five seperate occassions, Riehl posted 3+ made threes. The guard should be primed for an expanded role this year, given his clear efficiency as a freshman.
Cyprus Woodley – Wing
Woodley is a 6’3 wing who brings size as a help defender while helping space the floor on the opposite end. The incoming senior will play a valuable role providing size and strength to backcourt dominant group.
