Key Names
Luke Wagstaff Luke Wagstaff 6'8" Fort Collins | 2023 CO – Power Forward
The anchor on the glass, Wagstaff has continued to get recognized at showcase events throughout the last four months. Thanks to his consistency performing on the interior, the power forward has recently committed to Carroll College out in Helena, Montana. Wagstaff is simply too much to contain on the glass at 6’8, 230 pounds. Leading the team at 17.7 points per game and 11.1 rebounds, the power forward will be on a double double tear this year too. Although he will be a problem on the glass, I look forward to seeing his progression as a kick out passer from the low post.
Jamar Mitchell Jamar Mitchell 6'6" | SF Fort Collins | 2023 State CO – Small Forward
Mitchell has moved up our rankings throughout the summer thanks to his skill progression while already off the superb athletic baseline. At 6’6, the forward has shown dominance guarding multiple positions both as the point of attack defender and as a help side shot blocker. One area of great intrigue resides in his mid-range shooting off the move, where he has greatly improved his volume through the club season. One area worth monitoring will be Mitchell’s comfort level driving with the off hand, especially in traffic. This past season, the forward averaged 10 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
Jayce King – Combo Guard
King is a disciplined defensive minded guard who does will setting up the team within the halfcourt. Standing right around 6′ tall, King has proven his two-way skillset on both ends. Becoming especially assertive getting downhill over the past few months. Already wiry strong, the junior guard should take another step forward this season as the team’s primary ballhandler. One area of intrigue resides in King’s pull up shooting volume, showing steady improvements in shot selection and efficiency. This past season, King averaged 10.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
Andrew Koerner Andrew Koerner 6'1" | PG Fort Collins | 2023 CO – Guard
Koerner is another two-way guard who plays a gritty brand of basketball, all while maintaining steady contributions as an off-ball shooter. Standing roughly 6’1, the wing will have ample opportunities as a floor spacer and back end defender with this group. This past season at Fort Collins, Koerner averaged 10.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
Kaden Elmore Kaden Elmore 6'4" | SF Fort Collins | 2024 CO – Small Forward
Elmore largely sits as a x-factor for this group, boasting defensive versatility at 6’4. The wing should serve as a lengthy help side defender and occassional floor spacer.
Joe Cottingham – Guard
Another rugged athlete, Cottingham as potential to bring energy on the glass and potentially even some defensive versatilty at 6’3. Cottingham has proven assertive attacking passing lanes from the backdoor, consistently working to get open.
