Syracuse is building and the one guy that seems to be taking off that we are excited to see that could make some noise in the recruiting world but also in the stats as he can score but he can do other things as well and that is Kaden Erickson. Last season he had a coming out party in the playoffs and he was good during the Grassroots season but he has a good matchup in Game 1 that could help elevate his status right off the jump.

Payson High School || Region 7 ||

Payson is the team that not many people talk about and they have slowly been a problem for other teams as they have had some solid prospects come through those halls. This year we are excited to see what they do as they have a run and gun system and a major home court advantage at their gym that is often hard to hear in. They will be led by [player_tooltip player_id='1402375' first='Isaac' last='Wolfe'] a player that hit over 40 three-pointers and he put up some good numbers overall. Isaac will be a big time threat from deep that will allow his teammates to get good looks but Issac gets out in transition and can shoot the cover off the ball.

Ridgeline High School || Region 11 ||

Although 4A headlines seem to be dominated by a few other teams Ridgeline is creeping in the shadows and ready to pounce. They have a solid overall team and a lot of good pieces in different positions but the big fella [player_tooltip player_id='1235094' first='Jagger' last='Francom'] is going to be a problem. With size always being an issue across the state Jagger is a big kid that can move and anywhere near the paint he is going to be effective.

Highland vs. Mountain Ridge

Two teams looking to make an early statement.

Draper APA vs. Grantsville

Both teams have been good and Grantsville sure gets a lot out of their players.
