Moustapha Diop
Moustapha Diop
Walker’s squad looks much different this year, having lost their main contributors by way of transfer. However, freshman Moustapha Diop has stepped up and led the charge so far. In his first game of the year, he finished with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and led Walker to a 14-point win over Lassiter. Shortly after that performance, Auburn offered. Diop has fascinating physical tools, standing at a lengthy 6’10 and moving around the court extremely well. He’ll be a name to know in this 2026 class.
Aiden Aponte-Maxwell seems to have found an excellent fit at Galloway and is making an impact early on. It looks like he’s been able to adjust to the speed of varsity basketball fairly quickly and his scoring numbers are proof of that. He’s averaging 18.6 ppg through the first 3 games and has provided a second scoring option alongside Amir Arrington. Aponte’s 3-and-D ability have really helped him become effective right away and allow him to be an impact guy in most basketball environments.
Devin Hutcherson
Devin Hutcherson
Devin Hutcherson is a bouncy, versatile guard that has wasted no time making his mark at Holy Innocents. From the season opener, Hutcherson has played with a level of confidence and aggression that you rarely see in freshman. His coming-out party was the Hawks-Naismith Tip-Off Classic where he went for 28 points, 10 rebounds, & 4 blocks in a 1-point loss to Riverwood. With the news of Caleb Wilson Caleb Wilson 6’10” | PF Holy Innocents | 2025 State #3 Nation GA ‘s latest injury, Hutcherson will have to keep playing at a high-level for Holy Innocents to win some games.
Isaiah Langley
Isaiah Langley
While Berkmar’s roster consisted of nearly all new names, there were a lot of questions as to who would emerge as the core pieces. Isaiah Langley has answered the call in a huge way, making the most of his minutes from the first game and providing efficient scoring from the perimeter. Through their first 5 games, Langley has consistently been good for 10 points a night, his best game being an 18-point outing against Winder-Barrow. Langley’s high school career is off to an excellent start and should be a fun one to follow in coming years.
