Cannon continues to be a prospect that climbs up the radar in NC’s 2024 class. He moves from the 42nd spot into the 24th position in the latest update. He’s a forward that’s capable of operating inside and out with his length and ability as a ballhandler. He’s a big man in the 2024 class with a big season on the horizon over at Quality Education Academy to keep eyes on this year with a few offers from DI programs under his belt.
Wilkerson is a name at Walkertown High that’s worth getting to know in the 2024 class in the state. He moves from No. 41 in the ranks to No. 31 in the latest update. He’s a combo guard with a high IQ for making plays and already has a year of varsity under his belt heading into a pivotal junior season. The 6-foot guard produced 15.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg and 1.9 apg in 2021-22 looking to build upon his growth as a sophomore in the backcourt with some talent to work with around him.
Alston is another 2024 prospect in the state that had a productive varsity sophomore campaign over at Wake Forest High. He moves from No. 56 to No. 35 in the latest rankings update after producing 10.2 ppg, 5.2 rpg and 1.0 bpg this past season for the Cougars. He’s a versatile prospect at 6-foot-6 that’s just scratching the surface of what he can do as a dual-threat forward. He’s due for a strong junior season and worth getting eyes on this year.
Highlights
Vazquez continues his ascent up the 2024 rankings in the latest update. He moves from No. 50 to No. 39 in the 2024 rankings. He was a top performer at this past year’s Fab40ENC event, showing off his ability to attack off the bounce when given opportunities. He’s a relentless competitor that competes on the glass on both ends of the floor. As he shows off his ability to knock down shots in space, look for his recruitment to pick up this season over at Wayne Country Day School.
Ferere is one of a two-headed monster alongside Jucqarie Love Jucqarie Love 6’5″ | PF Southern Guilford | 2024 State NC set to make an impact for Southern Guilford High in 2022-23. He moves from 54th into the 43rd spot in the latest rankings update. He’s an athletic wing prospect that likes to get downhill and finish around the rim and in traffic. He’s shown he can step out and shoot the ball on the perimeter as well. As he shows he can knock down shots with consistency and handle the ball, look for his recruitment to grow in the 2024 class.
