A two sport star, Custard is one of the toughest guards you’ll come across in the 24 class. Kaydon takes pride in guarding the opposing team’s best player and will attack them on the other end of the court too. One of the best players in the 10th region for the last couple of seasons, he will look to get Harrison in contention for a regional title.
Highlights
The best shooter in the group, Riley is nearly a 50% three point shooter in catch and shoot situations and has become more comfortable in the last 18 months at shot faking and putting the ball on the floor. Brown has a deep offensive arsenal and will be a scholarship level player if his defense catches up to his offense.
Highlights
One of the more productive guards in far western Ky, Grubbs is primed for a big season for a UHA team that has hopes of making a deep run this season. Gavin is a shifty guard who excels at getting into the paint and getting paint touches and finishing through contact and has the physical tools to lockdown opposing guards when he wants to.
Highlights
A new name in the rankings, Doyle is one of the players whose stock could take off this season. He’s overlooked after a transfer from Woodford County but the 6’3 guard is very skilled and capable of doing a lot of damage on offense without a ton of shots. Catholic will need him to be good this season to get to Rupp Arena.
Stewart is part of a Corbin roster that is loaded at the guard spots and gets a lot of their offense from the perimeter. Carter was a double figure scorer last season and could boost his production even more if he improves his shooting efficiency. Primarily a three point shooter last season, look for Stewart to be more aggressive off the bounce and focus more on getting to the rim.
