Ray had a strong day today at the tournament. His highlight play was a monstrous breakaway dunk. On the play he showed his high level athleticism and ability to play above the rim. He also stepped outside and knocked down a few three pointers. He is a player with good length to match his skill set.
Highlights
Anthony Diletiza
Anthony Diletiza
Anthony showed his strong two way game. He is a tough defender who is pesky, moves well, and is very vocal on the floor. He is a point guard, who can score or be a facilitator. Today he did a great job running his teams offense, and playing at multiple speeds. He has a good assist to turnover ratio. He shot well, and also set his teammates up with a number of good reads on the defense to find his teammates to score. A true point guard, who has a high motor and is a good teammate.
Jayvian Garcia
Jayvian Garcia
Garcia really made his presence know down low today. He got good positioning down low, caught the ball high, and finished at a high percentage from the low block. He used his power dribble, drop step, and up and under move. Garcia is a mobile player, and a paint protector.
Sidney Hall
Sidney Hall
Hall was a scoring machine today. He was able to get in the paint, and score off 1 or 2 feet. He also showed his finishing moves at the rim and his floater. He has a good inside out game, and also showed his ability to shoot from three. He is really good at creating separation from the defense. He is a high energy player that was in attack mode today.
Zach Taylor
Zach Taylor
Zach is a very athletic guard. Today he had multiple put back dunks off offensive rebounds. Zach plays much bigger than his listed size. He is very well conditioned and can play just as hard down the stretch as he can at the start of the game. He has relentless energy on both the offensive and defense side of the ball. He also made some tough finishes through contact today, and does a good job scoring over bigger defenders. I am looking forward to watch Zach this coming season at North Quincy.
