Jordan Logan Jordan Logan 6'7" | PF Vashon | 2023 State MO (Vashon, No. 51 to 11): The 6’8″ forward put together a terrific summer performance with the MPJ Elite which resulted in him jumping in the rankings and emerging as a Division I prospect. He also picked up an offer from Florida International in the process. He is an explosive leaper who is one of the best in the state on the offensive boards, which includes the put-back dunk. His perimeter skills also emerged this summer as showed the ability to knock down the 3-pointer off the catch and off the bounce at times. His game is still growing, so his upside is still very big.
Trevor Reed Trevor Reed 6'6" | PF John Burroughs | 2023 State MO (John Burroughs, No. 81 to 21): The 6’6″ forward had a very productive junior season at JBS, but he raised his game to another level by enjoying a very solid summer with Brad Beal Elite in the Nike EYBL against some top competition. He was a consistent rebounder who could make the 3-pointer to stretch the floor. He has emerged with a different offensive mindset as he has the moves and footwork to score very effectively in the low post. He can create a shot off the bounce in addition to his 3-point shooting ability. He’ll also grab the rebound and take off to lead the break with his ball handling.
Ethan Fauss Ethan Fauss 6'7" | PF Clayton | 2023 State MO (Clayton, No. 71 to 22): A versatile and very skilled 6’8″ forward who had a big summer with the Arsenal Hoops 17U and followed up by dominating the inaugural Arsenal Hoops Fall League. Not only is he one of the top perimeter shooting bigs in the state, he is one of the top perimeter shooters period. He has a smooth release and feathery touch from long distance. He can attack off the drive and drop a nice dime to an open teammate. He has received multiple Division II scholarship offers while a few Division I schools may also be taking a look.
Winston Allen Winston Allen 6'5" | SF Oak Park | 2023 State MO (Oak Park, No. 40 to 24): The 6’5″ wing displayed one of the most impressive motors in the state in the multiple events that I watched him in. He’s an athletic slashing threat who impacts the game at both ends of the floor. He attacks the rim on the dribble and he can also knock down the perimeter jumper. He is a tenacious offensive rebounder who is always running the court in transition. He is strong on the defensive end where he can guard multiple positions and play in the passing lanes.
Matt Haefner Matt Haefner 6'7" | SF Lafayette | 2023 State MO (Lafayette, No. 61 to 25): The versatile 6’7″ forward had an excellent summer with the Hardwood Elite 17Us. He earned multiple Division II offers and eventually gave a commitment to Truman State University. He has a nice skill set that makes him a big matchup problem. He has good 3-point shooting range and he has an excellent pull up jumper from the mid-range area. He also works the offensive boards hard to get putbacks. He is primed for a big senior year after averaging 16 points and seven rebounds as a junior.
Charles Nelson Charles Nelson 6'0" | PG Miller Career Academy | 2023 State MO (Miller Career Academy, No. 60 to 42): The 6’0″ combo guard proved to be a very skilled bucket-getter as a junior and throughout the summer with the St. Louis Warriors. He is a creative shot-maker with his crafty handles and his variety of escape moves off the dribble. He can also ring the bell from 3-point range. He should be one of the top scorers in the St. Louis metro area after averaging 18 points a game as a junior last season.
Quinn Blackburn (Pacific No. 62 to 43): The 6’8″ forward is a very skilled post player with good footwork and a variety of moves to help him score in the paint. He can score inside with either hand and he can step out and knock down the 15 footer from the high post. He can also beat an opposing big off the dribble to score in the lane. He is a strong rebounder who is a threat to post a double-double every time he steps on the floor. He averaged 13 points and 12 rebounds a game as a junior. He spent the summer playing with the Hardwood Elite 17Us.
