In this game Walter was phenomenal, and the most productive player on the court scoring 15 points, 6 lay-ups and one 3-pointer. On his 3-pointer, Walter had a decently quick release from the right corner on a catch and shoot opportunity. Also solid in transition opportunities and appeared comfortable enough to handle the ball for a breakaway and reverse finish.

Jj Sullivan Jj Sullivan 6’2″ | SG Eden Prairie | 2025 State MN is a 2025 six-foot-two-inch guard from Eden Prairie that plays the game like a Senior that has been leading his team for years. Either with the ball, or without, Sullivan has a confidence on the floor, knows where he’s supposed to be and can get others the ball when and where needed. During this match-up he drove numerous times without much difficulty, and made lay-ups with deliberate spin like a golfer hitting from 200 yards and needing backspin.
Last season while doing some game watching of Columbia Heights’ big 3 Senior’s, Jency Davis Jency Davis 5’9″ | PG Columbia Heights | 2024 State MN stuck out as a Freshman on a heavy Senior dominate Heights team. The 2024 five-foot-ten-inch point guard proved this in person at the Top 250 Expo in numerous ways. One, he scored twelve points by driving to the basket nearly at will and being alert to get out in transition for easy lay-ups, at least looked easy for him with his speed. Defensively he ripped opponents twice for steals and assisted twice on baskets for others while he hockey assisted a couple times as well.

Shaun Wysocki Shaun Wysocki 6’7″ | SF Rochester Century | 2024 State MN is a 2024 six-foot-five-inch wing from Rochester Century and Minnesota Lightning (AAU Highlights). Wysocki is a fairly athletic wing as he moved fluidly, can handle the ball a bit, and showed his ability to score in different ways. He scored 12 points in the contest by making two 3’s and three 2’s. The 3-pointers Wysocki made were nothing but net as the lefty shooter’s form looked very fluid and put together. Wysocki showed potential defensively versality as able to guard smaller players on the wing, and used his reach to knock a ball away and pick up a steal.

Lake De Jongh Lake De Jongh 6’6″ | SF Stillwater Area | 2024 State MN is a 2024 six-four-five-inch forward from Stillwater and played AAU with Northstar Titans. DeJongh has the most impressive dunk in this match-up on a play he cut baseline and punched home the slam off two feet. DeJongh totaled 9 points that included a 3-pointer and managed to assist on three baskets to teammates.

Justin Courneya Justin Courneya 6’1″ | PG Win-E-Mac | 2024 State MN is a 2024 guard from Win-E-Mac and West Central United, and he stands six-feet tall. Courneya is in the mold of guards that play at a hyper-speed pace utilizing speed and quickness, if you don’t match him, you get let behind. A versatile scorer who will get you inside by being pesky and relentless, or rain from beyond the 3-point arc when given space.
Owen Bernatz Owen Bernatz 6’1″ | SG Hastings | 2024 State MN is a 2024 guard from Hastings that stands six-foot-one-inches tall. Bernatz as a secondary ball handler managed four assists to showcase ability to set-up teammates from the wing and having his head up in transition chances. Also making his presence felt scoring Bernatz scored 10 points on five makes.

Javaughn Tensley Javaughn Tensley 6’2″ Tartan | 2023 MN is a six-foot-two-inch 2023 guard from Tartan high school that plays hard the whole time, showed some shift with the ball in his hands, and makes his lay-ups. Tensley showcased a maturity over the other players, and utilize his more filled out frame to push smaller players around while in the paint as well on drives.
