A do-it-all 6-5 wing who is the league’s top returning scorer, Cooley is capable of dominating games on both ends of the floor with his length and athleticism.
First Team
2024 Jack Cooley Jack Cooley 6'5" | PF Clarke | 2024 State IA (Clarke): 20.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2.1 steals, 1.9 blocks, 50.4 FG%, 74.7 FT%
Cooley led the Indians in scoring, assists, and steals, and helped lead them to their best season since winning 19 games in the 2006-07 season. At 6-5, he has the size to defend multiple positions, and he’s a strong ball-handler and decision-maker who can score in bunches or get others involved at a high level.
2023 Drew Chance Drew Chance 6'2" | PF Albia | 2023 State IA (Albia): 19.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.0 steals
A 6-3 combo forward, Chance was asked to take on more of a playmaking role last season and thrived, leading the Blue Demons in scoring, rebounding, and assists. He sees the floor really well, has good footwork and hands, and has really improved as a ball-handler and shot creator.
2024 Brooks Moore Brooks Moore 6'5" | SF Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont | 2024 State IA (Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont): 16.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.2 steals, 50.7 FG%, 74.4 FT%
An athletic 6-5 wing who is at his best when he’s playing downhill and attacking the bucket, Moore led the Rockets in scoring as a sophomore, helping lead them to an undefeated record in league play. EBF is probably still the team to beat within the league, and Moore’s athleticism and size make him a really difficult matchup for opposing teams.
2025 Landen Norris (Knoxville): 9.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.0 steals
Norris led a very young Panthers team in scoring, assists, and steals as a freshman. Of the team’s top ten scorers last season, four were freshmen and five were sophomores, so expect to see Knoxville being much more competitive this season behind Norris.
2024 Mason Smith Mason Smith 5'7" | PG Chariton | 2024 State IA (Chariton): 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 steals
The Chargers won just a single game last season, but Smith was a strong contributor, accounting for more than 42% of the team’s scoring as a sophomore. He’s a volume scorer who can put points up in bunches.
