Continue Reading6-10 This upcoming season is going to be hard to call as it really gets murky with who is who and who will step up. You have teams Like Herriman and Bingham knocking on the door but with one having a lot of experience and one with no experience who knows how it will turnout. Then Teams like Davis and Weber could really get things going and beat teams as could Kearns but for the meantime these teams are on the outside looking in at these Top 10 Pre-Season Fall Rankings. Excited to spark the conversation and look at the prospects that will hit the floor for these teams.
#6 Syracuse
The transformation that Syracuse has been doing changing their culture and taking the talent on the roster by developing and really helping them become next level prospects is impressive. They will be lead by Kaden Ericksen Kaden Ericksen 6'2" | CG Syracuse | 2023 State UT a player that should be highly recruited, especially by D2 schools who can nab a player that can help them right away. This kid is going to be a 15/5/5 player his senior year. Look out for Carter Semrow Carter Semrow 6'2" | SG Syracuse | 2023 State UT who can score at will as well.

#7 Copper Hills
Copper Hills has been good for so many years as they are always a tough team to matchup against as they have bigger guards that can step out and shoot the ball and they also get in the post and make plays near the rim. With some elite sets that get many players involved look for Kyson Hymas Kyson Hymas 6'5" | SF Copper Hills | 2023 State UT to really explode this year. Logan Weidauer Logan Weidauer 6'5" | SF Dixie | 2024 State UT is another young 2024 prospect that is flying under the radar but that can hoop. He has great size and play-making ability. Look for a lot of new players to emerge on this team.

#8 Westlake
Westlake is probably the most physical program in the state and regardless who suits up for them they are going to grind out games and play physical defensive foundational ball. Maverick McManus Maverick McManus 6'6" | SF Westlake | 2023 State UT should be a new name that you hear of more as he is a big strong forward that will wreck havoc. When 90% of the team is seniors look for their JV players and a few younger players emerge.

#9 Fremont
Really like this team as a team that will catch people off guard. They will be lead by Hunter Hansen Hunter Hansen 6'4" | PG Fremont | 2024 State UT who is a player that plays the right way and can score at those key three levels. His height is also helping him play that style he likes to play. He is shooting over players smaller than him and his defense has really improved. A lot of young players in the rotation can help this team knock off anyone. David Calvert David Calvert 6'6" | PF Fremont | 2023 State UT is having a great football season and we expect him to have a great basketball season as well.

#10 Lone Peak
Lone Peak has some young players and some height that can help them win some games. Cameron Swigget is a quick guard that if he can average 7+ assist a game Lone Peak will have a shot at winning some tough games. Ike Staley Ike Staley 6'6" | SG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT is developing at a high level and Chamberlain Burgess Chamberlain Burgess 6'9" | PF Lone Peak | 2025 State #214 Nation UT has some potential as he continues to develop and grow. The weight room could really take his game to the next level.
