Amari Edwards Amari Edwards 5'8" | PG Phillips | 2025 State IL (St. Rita) Sophomore
Smaller guard with above average knowledge of the game. Edwards is a very savvy guard who knows how to mix up his attack and is a wizard when put in pick and roll situations. He made top 60 game with his passing and shooting ability.
Marquis Clark Marquis Clark 6'2" | PG Whitney Young | 2026 State IL (Whitney Young) Freshman
Amongst the scouts from Illinois Clark was a player who maybe should have played in the top 30 game instead of top 60 because he had a heck of a camp. Marquis is composed guard that is wired to score. He plays with a composed intensity that helps him make adjustments when on offense.
Andre Tyler Andre Tyler 6'4" | SG Simeon | 2026 State IL (St. Rita) Freshman
High energy scoring threat. Can finish at the rim in multiple ways. He has good hang time and is able to take a bump and finish plays. Tyler has good length that he uses on defense to play passing lanes or get back tap steals on ball handlers. Andre was a top 60 camper.
Noah Mister (Kenwood) Freshman
Mister is a ball savvy guard that shoots it at high rate. He is a floor general that makes plays as if he’s one step ahead of the competition. Size isn’t a factor for Noah because he also gets after it on defense forcing opposing ball handlers into uncomfortable situations. Mister became an automatic Top 30 player with his 8 three pointer performance on Saturday.
Elijah Lovemore Elijah Lovemore 6'2" | PG Bloom | 2025 State #344 Nation IL (Bloom) Sophomore
Lovemore showcased himself with his scoring and passing ability. He is another scoring guard that can shoot and finish at the rim. He has the tools, length, and skill to be a really strong two way player at Bloom. Elijah was a Top 60 player at this year’s event because he competed at a very high level this weekend.
Rykan Woo Rykan Woo 6'1" | PG Whitney Young | 2026 State IL (Whitney Young) Freshman
As the Co -Mvp of the top 30 game. Woo did a little bit of everything this weekend. He’s a high IQ player that gives his all on both sides of the court. Rykan is a very good facilitator who can score in the paint and on the perimeter. He is also a tenacious defender that can also rebound the ball. Woo put himself in the discussion for top guards of his class with his tremendous play.
Brent Taylor (Lincoln Way East) Sophomore
Taylor is a skilled guard who has a strong handle that gets to the rim of crossover moves. He showed he can shoot the mid-range well and is very aggressive at getting rebounds on the offensive side. Brent was a sleeper until he made the top 60 game.
Adam Page (Hilcrest) Sophomore
Bigger shooting wing/guard. That can heat up if you give him enough space. Adam is a hard nosed player that doesn’t back down from tough competition. He is a solid athlete that is dependable as a rebounder. Adam play earned him top 60 game honors.
Machi Nelson (Fenwick) Sophomore
Nelson is smaller and tough guard that gets up his shots from three. He went on a stretch where in three straight possessions he hit a three. Machi has a slick handle and is able to beat guys off the dribble when attacking North/South.
Zion Gross (Crete Monee) Sophomore
Slick guard who has a great shooting touch. Zion shot the ball very consistently from mid – range and from three. He has nice length for his position plus a decent handle package. Will be a player to monitor going forward in the South Suburbs.
Alec Ford (De La Salle) Freshman
Ford was one of the players who caught my eye because of how strong of a defender he was. One of his best qualities was being able to stay in between two guys and cover both by moving his feet and using his body to slow them down without fouling. On offense Alec has a good pace and control. He keeps the ball moving between teammates and can hit a shot or two when given space.
