We are checking out players from the Expo that we believe will have a breakout high school season in North Dakota.
Breakout Players
If he shoots it like he did at the Expo, Sam will be a lethal scoring machine this winter. We all know that Central Cass is going to be a dangerous team this winter. Kobbervig is a high percentage scorer inside the arc, if he hits consistently from outside, watch out!
He was solid last season but he will be the MAN this year for the Jaguars. Landon showed glimpses of that at the Expo. He is a nice-sized guard with skill and explosive scoring ability. Every team will focus on taking Moser away but I expect him to produce on a nightly basis.
Highlights
He was a First Team All-Expo player on Saturday. He was in great company on the First Team. Century will be stacked but Drew should still be in the running as a breakout player in the WDA. He is a great 1-guard but can also play off the ball. Kempel is the real deal!
Highlights
He is a big guard with all the tools. Sik showed the ability to shoot and score over smaller guards. His jumper looked great and he can stick it from multiple levels. Malaki and the Coyotes will have the chance to make some noise in the WDA and he will certainly stuff the stat sheet!
Kindred will compete for a Region Championship and the young Peraza will be a major piece for the Vikings. He might be a bit raw yet but Presley is very athletic, powerful, and an absolute playmaker. Like the Vikings of recent years, Peraza will be dunking often!
A gifted athlete that scores from every level. He will likely be a top player in Region 1. Ouse makes the game look easy and he finishes above the rim with the blink of an eye. Expect him to be a splashy player in Class B and for Kindred to contented for a Region Championship.
