Kyle Lemke Kyle Lemke 6'9" | C Dixie | 2024 State UT || Dixie High School || 2024 ||
Kyle has that style of play where it really looks like he doesn’t get tired as he his usually flying up the floor to get easy lays in transition. He catches and can finish quickly but he also has some moves that get him open as well. His activity from block to block allow his team to find open cutters on face cuts and open shooters on skip passes. When he catches the ball on the block and his time to gather he can flush it in traffic. He still has time to develop more shooting and more moves. His raw talent is something to really watch. Played well this past weekend and was a presence on both ends.
Kallen Lewis Kallen Lewis 6'6" | CG Corner Canyon | 2023 State UT || Corner Canyon High School || 2023 ||
Development is a big time thing that comes to mind when you watch Kallen play. He has really made his presence felt and he is that catch and shoot threat that he has been showing little pieces of. This weekend it really clicked for him as he had his guards creating and drawing two and finding him. On the other wing there was no help so he found himself open and he was in the zone. If Kallen plays like he did this weekend during the season CCHS is going to be trouble for everyone. Kallen just keeps playing himself up in the stock rising category and also in the eyes of college coaches.
David Katia || RSL Academy || 2024 ||
Really like that David is starting to really get aggressive with his shooting. He has always been an attack first guard but now with his shot falling even more he is changing the way defenders come at him. If he continues to shoot the way he does it will really open up lanes for him to drive on bad close-outs. He is a spark and his season is long with a national schedule so look for him to really get it going as soon as the season picks up.
Osiris Grady Osiris Grady 6'8" | C Wasatch Academy | 2023 State UT || Wasatch Academy || 2023 ||
Really impressed with the level of play Osiris plays with. He is not only a force inside but you can see a difference when he is off the floor. His activity on the glass is going to pay off with his stats but also with college coaches tracking him. He is fundamental and he can play through contact in traffic. Saw him rbound a few and lead the break this weekend. If his handle improves bringing the ball up, he might get a coast to coast dunk a few times this season.
Highlights
Ashton Wallace Ashton Wallace 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2023 State UT || American Fork High School || 2023 ||
Ashton is looking good on the ball and with the movement that his team plays with off the ball and when the ball is moving he doesn’t need to do it too often. When Ashton is on the ball he breaks pressure and he has a good feel for what he is doing as a PG. He keeps his vision up and is ready to let that ball fly up the floor. Ashton will be a seasoned ball handler by the time region rolls around. Great showing at The Boarder League.
