In the championship matchup they faced an early deficit but battled back with some outstanding perimeter shooting to eventually take over the lead and they would not look back. Let’s take a closer look at some of the top performers from the Championship game, as well as some top performers from the semifinals.

He took home the Finals MVP award after putting together an outstanding second half where he knocked down a high number of threes which helped his team erase a double-digit deficit. On the defensive side of the ball, he was solid, defending the opposing Guards without fouling but contesting just about every shot that was taken.

Cobe was one of the top players in the league this season from start to finish and the playoffs were no different. He’s in range for his shot as soon as he steps across halfcourt, gets good lift on his shot and is a very efficient scorer. JUCO programs should be calling and offering him ASAP, this young man can flat out play and knows how to win games.
Showcased his three-point shooting in their semifinal matchup, leading his team in scoring against the Pirates. He doesn’t need much time or space to get his shot off, has good shooting range, plays well within the flow of the team offense and still has a good amount of upside.

A player that we fully expect to play his way onto the radar of more college coaches as the season goes on. His size, wingspan and versatility are all attributes that should attract coaches at the next level, and we feel he will only continue to get better.
Jayvonte Byron

Had one of his best games of the season to help his team to advance to the championship game, scoring 23 Points that included a game winning floater. He’s a crafty player that can get to his spots and finish in a variety of ways. Look for him to have a much larger role and impact for his team this season.
The impact that he makes on games simply can’t be measured by the stat line. He has a very advanced IQ for the game, is a very unselfish player, brings effort on both ends of the floor and doesn’t get too high or low regardless of whatever is going on.
Jaiden Shepard
