Here we go again with another set of UPDATED State Rankings. Prep Hoops stays on top of all the action all year long with 4 updates generally a year. Who will land in the top spot here in the 2024 Palmetto State? Really not much a surprise. One player made a jump after a very solid and spring and summer. 1 – Cameron Scott Cameron Scott 6'6" | SG Lexington | 2024 State #23 Nation SC – Lexington HS
Scott comes in at the top spot once again here in the 2024 Palmetto State. This past week Scott visited University of South Carolina while Tennessee and Duke both came into see him this week. Auburn, Texas and Florida State all seem to be in the picture also for his services. Scott will have plenty of suitors for his talents when the time comes.
2 – Elijah Crawford Elijah Crawford 6'1" | PG Brewster Academy | 2024 State #169 Nation NLG – Legacy Early College
Crawford moved in this off season from Augusta Christian (GA) where he helped them win a SCISA Class 3A State Championship last season in Sumter. Elijah recently took a visit to LSU down in Baton Rouge. Crawford will have plenty of High Major suitors coming his way this season while playing for the Lions.
3 – Julen Iturbe Julen Iturbe 6'8" | PF Riverside | 2024 State #234 Nation SC – Riverside HS
Julen should see plenty of recruitment come his way this coming fall after running with Team Curry 16U on the Grassroots Circuit. Iturbe has a good skill package for a big man and great passing skills. Julen really understands the game well and that comes from his solid father bloodlines. Julen can face-up to the cup or work down low posting up on the block. He won’t hesitate at all when it comes to taking a charge on the defensive end.
4 – Ellis Graham Ellis Graham 6'9" | PF Gray Collegiate | 2024 State #305 Nation SC – Gray Collegiate
Graham will be a nice addition to the War Eagles roster this season after joining the program from nearby East Clarendon HS. Ellis a bouncy and athletic forward who really can cover some ground in a hurry on the hardwood. Graham will affect a game on both ends of the as rim runner on the offensive end or a rim protector on the defensive end.
5 – Justin Ray Justin Ray 6'3" | SG Eastside | 2024 State #317 Nation SC – Eastside HS
Justin had a good summer with high school and Grassroots team. Ray is a very smart and productive shooter who can really score the ball. Justin for his efforts picked some offers this past summer. Justin made up a move to the Top 5 after currently being ranked #7 in the previous set of rankings.
