The class has seen a lot of talent defect from it over the last 9 months or so but it’s still one of the best Kentucky has seen in a while. Here’s a look at the top point guards in our updated Senior rankings. This does not include any players ranked in the top 10 in the class.
The lone committed player on this list, Grant made his pledge to Bellarmine this summer and should be a productive player there. Whitaker is the front runner for 1st region player of the year and has shown he’s capable of creating his own offense or facilitating for his teammates and getting them open looks.

One of the best players in the class since the 8th grade (if not even farther back), Dallas is a scoring point who excels at getting paint touches and stressing the defense. Roberts has shown he doesn’t need to force offense as he’s a willing facilitator and he is an underrated passer with good vision.

Omari had a strong showing at the Kentucky state tournament in March and performed well with limited time on the EYBL this summer with Boo Williams. If you’re a coach looking for a steal in the recruiting process, Glover would be a good one to start recruiting.
Thomas plays with a mean streak and has absolutely no back down in him. A fierce competitor, Gerard is physical and hard to stop when he’s getting downhill. He’s a better shooter than he’s given credit for and some college will get a steal in the signing period. If Thomas goes Juco, don’t be surprised to see him mid major D1 in a year or two.

Edelen, like Roberts, has been a top player in this class for a long time and will finish his high school career with a ton of accolades when he hangs up his Bulldog jersey for the last time. Jack is a high IQ point who is awesome at finishing through contact and is one of the best three point shooters in the state. Combined with his high academics, Jack will have a lot of college options when signing day comes around.
