Elian Alvarez
Elian Alvarez
At the New Hampshire Fall Tip off, Alvarez came to play. He did a good mix of scoring the ball from the outside and getting his teammates involved. He hit some tough contested threes. He also had some nice passes including one in the lane between 2 defenders. Alvarez did a good job playing within the flow of the offense and didn’t force anything. He played with high energy on both sides of the ball.
Austin helped lead the Magic team to the Zero Gravity Beast of the East championship win. He is a 6-4 Shooting Guard, with the tools to play at the division 1 college level. He is very athletic and showed that this weekend with some way above the rim plays. He is just as good of a passer as he is shooter. This past weekend he scored from the outside and in. Austin is a big time playmaker who is fun to watch.
Jordan Torres
Jordan Torres
Jordan was making plays all weekend long. He is an 8th grader and is playing up in the 9th grade divisions. Playing up did not faze him. He was scoring the ball, getting to the rim, pushing the ball in transition, and forced a bunch of turnover on defense jumping the passing lanes. Jordan is still young but is showing he has a lot of potential.
Alex Fleming
Alex Fleming
Alex had a nice showing at the Zero Gravity Beast of the East. He is a Forward who plays bigger than his listed size. He posted up and also hit shots from the outside. He worked very hard on the glass, particularly on the offensive boards. A few times nobody boxed him out and he took advantage of that, resulting in second chances points. He is a versatile player who can do a number things to impact the game. Here are his highlights from the weekend.
