The top prospect from southeast Ohio that I’ve seen in the class of 2024, Copas is an impressive scoring talent. After a huge Sophomore campaign for North Adams, I caught Copas with Indiana Elite Royals at the All Ohio event. In the middle of a great performance multiple coaches asked me who Copas was after also being impressed with his skill and competitiveness. Expect scholarship programs to come calling next spring and summer when non Division I programs prioritize the 2024 class.
Drane is one of the quickest guards in the state and has fit in well with a Lakota West squad with a lot of talent on their roster. The first time I caught Drane was at a summer event at Princeton high school where Drane caught my eye with his ability to get to the paint and his touch on shots around the rim and from the outside. I’ll be very curious to see how Drane performs in the tough GMC conference that is loaded at the point guard position.
Highlights
Bosley had an under the radar Sophomore season next to Solomon Callaghan Solomon Callaghan 6’0″ | PG Wadsworth | 2023 State OH for Wadsworth. Bosley is a productive guard who knows how to score around the basket and finds himself in the right place at the right time often. His awareness is impressive and he can also make the defense pay from the outside. He has a bit of an unorthodox style of play with a stockier body for a guard but the production speaks for itself when you watch him compete.

The second straight guard prospect who is complimented by a Junior star at the high school level, Beasley and Adam Thorbahn Adam Thorbahn 6’4″ | PF Port Clinton | 2023 State OH are a dynamic one-two punch that not many teams in the Sandusky Bay Conference will be able to match. Beasley caught my eye at the 270 Hoops prospect camp in July and is now a prospect I can’t wait to see more of in the future. I have high expectations for Port Clinton if their star duo can stay healthy.
Nowell is another prospect who made the list after a strong showing at the 270 Hoops prospect camp, but Nowell was a prospect who was already on my radar. After a solid Sophomore season, I expect Nowell to be near the top in the Columbus City League in scoring this winter. Nowell has the ability to get hot in a hurry as he has the microwave badge equipped.
