Winston Allen Winston Allen 6'5" | SF Oak Park | 2023 State MO (Oak Park): The 6’5″ 2023 wing was one of the top all-around players that I watched at the Expo. He is a skilled athlete who plays with great effort and zeal at both ends of the court. He was getting buckets on strong downhill drives to the basket while also stepping out to knock down 3-pointers. He’s a high flyer who plays above the rim as an offensive rebounder along with his many transition dunks.
Clayton Parker Clayton Parker 6'8" | PF Montgomery County | 2025 State MO (Montgomery County): The 6’7″ 2025 forward displayed his overall skill set and versatility. He was a big matchup problem on offense. In the game I watched, he ran the floor well and got a number of transition baskets. He was strong in the low post as he scored with a variety of moves, such as back downs, the up and under and the drop step. He was also stepping out and showcasing his feathery touch from 3-point range.
Tracy Harris (Mascoutah, IL): A 5’9″ 2023 point guard who had a nice combination of quickness and strength. He established himself as a scoring threat, especially from 3-point range. He was knocking down triples off the step-back and he also walked into a 3-pointer in the transition game. He hit three treys in the game that I watched. He was also looking to push the tempo at every opportunity with his speed.
Tristan Wiggins Tristan Wiggins 6'0" | PG Sikeston | 2025 State MO (Sikeston): The 6’1″ point guard from Southeast Missouri was a force with his strength and tenacity at both ends of the court. He was getting downhill on power drives into the lane and finishing in traffic. He also displayed a nice spin move in the lane while at full speed. On defense, he was very focused as he would sit down and move his feet to stay in front of opposing ball handlers.
Gardner Casey Gardner Casey 5'10" | CG Bolivar | 2025 State MO (Bolivar): The 5’11” 2025 combo guard who was one of the more impressive 3-point shooters that I saw at the event. The young lefty knocked down three 3-pointers in the first game, with two of them coming in transition. He moves well without the ball and his handles were also very solid. He was also a very unselfish player who was giving up open shots for teammates who had an even better shot.
Steve Samuels Steve Samuels 5'11" | PG Jefferson City | 2023 State MO (Jefferson City): A 5’11” combo guard who was an excellent two-way performer. He plays defense with great enjoyment as he sits down and provides excellent on-ball pressure. He’s strong and quick and he stays low on the dribble, when enables him to get into the lane an operate in tight spots. He can pull up and hit the jumper and he also displayed his perimeter shooting ability.
Will Salonies Will Salonies 6'0" | PG Holt | 2026 State MO (Wentzville Holt): A 5’11” 2026 point guard who looked very smooth and play with a lot of poise. He plays at his own pace and he didn’t let himself get sped up. He has a quick first step into the lane and he had some impressive escape moves to create his own shot. He also knocked down a pair of 3-pointers on successive possessions.
Brady Conway (Pickneyville, IL): A 5’9″ 2025 guard from Southern Illinois who displayed good court vision and the ability change speeds very effectively on the dribble. He set up defenders well and he could get into the lane, where he operated off of two feet very well. He also made good use of head fakes with good footwork. He could also make the open 3-pointer.
Jack Prunty Jack Prunty 6'1" | CG Marquette | 2025 State MO (Marquette): A 6’1″ 2025 guard who was very effective when he was on the attack. He was constantly pushing the ball upcourt and he was probing the defense for driving lanes. He could also get to the open spots and hit the 3-pointer off the catch.
Daniel Light Daniel Light 5'10" Steelville R-3 | 2023 MO (Steelville): A 5’10” 2023 point guard who did a good job of staying under control on the dribble and getting to his spots on the floor. He was very effective at backing down defenders into the lane, old school style, and creating scoring opportunities.
