Blakeman was one of the highest scoring 2025s in Kentucky last season and is unlikely to slow down anytime soon. Look for him to pour in a lot of points on Saturday.
Melo is one of the best athletes in the class and has the chance to follow in his big brother’s steps as a D1 guard down the line. Camps are generally lacking defense but Boone has the potential to lock up anyone if he chooses to.
Cooper is a big time shooter who had a strong spring of AAU before an injury kept him out for July. Davenport’s next evolution in his game is to improve off the bounce and finishing through contact.
Vince already holds multiple D1 offers but will look to solidify his standing as a top 2025 in Kentucky on Saturday. Capable of playing multiple positions on the court, Dawson is a true three level scorer.
Highlights
Eli has already started getting noticed by D1 coaches over the past year or so and is one of the players I’m most looking forward to seeing on Saturday as we don’t get to see the kids from the first and second region very often.
Staying in the western part of the state, Griffin is likely to earn quite a bit of playing time for Bowling Green this season. Briar is the closest thing the Purples have to a Turner Buttry replacement next season at the guard spot.
Highlights
Lyons was a 15 point per game scorer as a freshman and will have an even bigger role after leading scorer Mason Guffey Mason Guffey 6’5″ | SF Taylor County | 2023 State KY tore his ACL this summer. Layken has a chance to boost his ranking way up with a strong showing Saturday.
Birney is a relative unknown prospect but when you go and look into his freshman season stats, you’ll see that he led Ballard Memorial in almost every category last season and shot over 40% from three last year. He can make a name for himself Saturday.
