The Top 250 Expo showcased some of Colorado’s best players and a select few who towered above the rest. Here are the most outstanding big men from the event.
Caden Stevens Caden Stevens 6'8" | C Mountain Vista | 2023 CO – Mountain Vista
Caden Stevens Caden Stevens 6'8" | C Mountain Vista | 2023 CO showed off his great mobility for his size. Standing at 6’9 no defenders near his size were able to stay in front of him off of the dribble. Caden can play from the wing and do everything you need from a big man. He is a good dish-off option when in the dunker’s spot and does a good job on the offensive boards. On the defensive end, he uses his mobility to guard wings on the perimeter and then used his long reach and vertical bounce to be a top rim protector.

Jacob Barker Jacob Barker 6'11" | C Resurrection Christian | 2024 State CO was the biggest player standing at 6’10 he towered over the competition. Jacob for his size moves very well and uses that to get good positioning in the post. With the ball down low, Jacob used his size and soft touch to finish over defenders. On the defensive end, Jacob used his size and frame to play straight defense scaring players away from the rim. Jacob is a high upside big that college coaches should keep an eye on.
Neil Summers – Laramie
Neil Summers has a great combination of size and mass that allowed him to stand out at the Expo. Neil was able to move players out of his way to get positioning in the post and for rebounds. For a big Neil has a decent handle on the ball and a good spin move that allowed him to get to the basket. He also showed the ability to stretch the floor and hit shots from the mid-range.
Charlie Dortch Charlie Dortch 6'9" Rocky Mountain | 2023 CO – Rocky Mountain
Charlie Dortch Charlie Dortch 6'9" Rocky Mountain | 2023 CO was the most skilled big man at the event. Charlie was able to effectively spread the floor and hit knockdown tough three-point shots off of the dribble. He also showed off his comfortable handle on the ball sometimes bringing the ball up the court and initiating the offense. He also was able to score above the rim throwing down some two-hand slams off of one foot. Charlie also was able to use his height to see over the defense and find open teammates.
Luke Wagstaff Luke Wagstaff 6'8" Fort Collins | 2023 CO – Fort Collins
Luke Wagstaff Luke Wagstaff 6'8" Fort Collins | 2023 CO is super light on his feet and has a broad frame which allowed him to put in work from the post. Down low, Luke does a great job of getting positioning and cannot get pushed off balance. With the ball in the post, Luke has a great back-to-the-basket game using a variety of post moves and can bully many defenders to get a good look. He was also able to hit threes off of the catch.
