His athleticism, length, and versatility make him an intriguing prospect to keep an eye on moving forward.

Gorsline is an undersized forward at 6-2, but he makes up for his lack of ideal size by playing much bigger than he’s listed. He’s a really good athlete and a strong young man who plays with a non-stop motor. He’ll take on whatever defensive task is assigned to him and he’ll rebound at an extremely high level on both ends of the floor (3.3 offensive, 3.7 defensive rebounds a game as a sophomore).
Krumrei transferred from Linn-Mar to Kennedy this offseason and should provide the Cougars with a long, athletic wing scorer and defender. He didn’t get any varsity run with the Lions last season, but is coming off a strong summer with the Barnstormers, where he showed the ability to create his own looks as well as play without the ball in his hands.
Highlights
A powerful slashing wing who does a great job absorbing contact and finishing around the rim, Meton looks primed to become a contributor for the Maroons as a junior after a strong summer with the Iowa Battlers. He rebounds well on both ends and has a strong mid-range game.
An athletic 6-5 wing who is a terror in transition, Moore led the Rockets in scoring as a sophomore, pouring in 16.8 points a game while shooting nearly 51% from the field. The next step in his progression will be adding a consistent jumper. We’re looking forward to seeing if that has happened.
Noll delivered one of the most impressive displays of the summer when he poured in 17 points in the first six minutes of Martin Brothers’ game against Omaha Elite at the Kings of the Court tournament. A 6-6 scoring wing who is capable of getting scorching hot from deep, he pairs a pure stroke with a quick release and a rapidly improving confidence in the ability to create his own shot. He’s oozing with potential.
A long wing who had some big moments off the bench for North Linn in their 1A championship run, Pflughaupt will step into a much larger role this season following the graduations of three double-figure scorers. He shot it really well during the spring with Iowa Prep and also showed the ability to use his length to impact the game defensively.
