The New England top 250 expo this past weekend had a lot of talent in the gym. Here is 5 players from the event that were game changers.
Troy is a true floor general and three level scorer. He was very aggressive at the expo attacking down hill. He finished well through contact, and showed his soft floater game. He was able to get in the paint and create easy scoring chance’s for himself. Multiple times during the day he got a rebound and took it the full length of the court to score. He is able to score in transition and in the half court. He also showed his court vision by making on point passes to his teammates in the lane and on the wing for scoring opportunity’s. Troy is a game changer because of his ability to score in multiple ways, control the pace of the game, and be effective playing on or off the ball.
For those who are a fan of high flying dunks, Matos was the player to watch. In one game during the day he had three big dunks on three straight possessions. Matos just takes off and makes dunking look effortless. He is an elite finisher at the rim and has a high level of potential.
Matos is a game changer because of his high level of athleticism and playmaking.
Amir is an athletic and skilled player. His quick first step off the dribble is hard for defenders to stay in front of. He can changes speeds well, and has a great burst of explosiveness off the dribble. A smooth player with a good feel for the game. Amir is a game changer because of his quickness and all around skill set.
Hynes was a game changer on Saturday because of his three point shooting, scoring, and his playmaking. He made a number of big threes. He was a big part of his teams second half comeback in one game. He has a smooth shot, with a high release point. Hynes also did many things that might not show up in the stat sheet but are very important. He communicated, rotated in the correct positions on defense, and made passes and shots difficult for the opposing team to get off.

Nate really had a standout day at the expo. He is a versatile forward, who you can tell worked hard to fine tune his all around skill set. He is able to score off the dribble, and play out on the wing. He is fundamentally sounds with his footwork, soft touch at the rim, and body control. He created shots for himself, and showed his ball handling skills as well. Nate had a number of impressive plays during the day. He is a game changer because of his combination of skills, size, toughness and fundamentals.
