Along with the players, there were Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College coaches in attendance as well. The competition was excellent throughout and there were a bunch of players that stood out. Now, let us take a look a look at the players from Team 7.
Strickland is a bigger shooting guard that moves well on the drive. Already has good size as an underclassman and can hit the corner three well.
Patterson is a smaller lead guard that plays lockdown defense. He hustles and sees the floor very well when he has the ball in his hands.
Highlights
Dawson is a lead guard that played very aggressive here. Really good handles and had one of the better drive and kick games I saw out of a prospect. Had a nice steal and score play as well.
Kirby is a taller lead guard that is real athletic. Excellent rebounding guard as well.
Highlights
Michaels is a bigger shooting guard that plays physical. Solid size already and uses that size on the defensive end. Great finisher through contact.
Highlights
DeFur is a small forward that moves well laterally. Pretty athletic on the wing as well. Looks to have a good feel for the game right now.
Nelson is a athletic power forward that is long and lanky. Battles on the defensive end and has some pretty moves around the rim.
Case is bigger small forward that is lanky. Was at his best on the defensive end where he displayed good shot blocking ability.
Conrad is a bigger post player that works hard down low. Goes up strong with the ball and almost welcomes the contact from the defender. Great motor as well.
Johnson is a bigger guard that plays physical. Good rebounder and plays aggressive in the paint.
