Along with the players, there were Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College coaches in attendance as well. The competition was excellent throughout and there were a bunch of players that stood out. Now, let us take a look a look at the players from Team 3.
Highlights
Lewis is a smaller lead guard with great handles. Real shifty with the ball and shot the ball well of the catch from deep.
Ingram is a lanky lead guard that plays with a ton of energy. Real active on offense and was really good about leading the fast break. Has shot blocking ability and shot the ball well from behind the arc.
Embry is a lead guard that sees the floor well. Had a nice pull up three when I watched him.
Highlights
Matson is a guard that is real active. Creates space off the ball really well and nailed a beautiful corner three when I watched him. Also was solid on the boards and has a smooth tip-in play.
Highlights
Jones is a shooting guard that has elite speed. Really athletic and has a high vertical. Shoots the ball well off the catch and nice floater in his game.
Highlights
Carpenter is a bigger lead guard that is real athletic. He is ultra dynamic with the ball in his hands and can make a ton of plays. Really smooth pull up jumper as well.
Gizzi is a taller, stocky shooting guard that plays physical. Scores at a high level and can do it at all levels.
Haywood is a guard that has length and athleticism. Would have like to have seen him be more aggressive on the offense but his high athletic ability was good on the defensive end.
Edwards is a taller shooting guard that proved length and size on the wing. Sees the floor very well and made beautiful full court pass for an easy bucket. Has blocking ability as well.
Hall was one of the players that impressed me the most. Silky smooth for his size and can stretch the floor so well. He is an impact player on the defense and gave up no easy buckets on that end. Baseline jumper was smooth and money every time.
