Lincoln had one of the best games that I’ve seen out of him on Sunday night at The League, even when faced off against some of the top 2024 prospects in the state. The 6’10 senior was dominant inside, scoring just about every time he got a touch on the block. He has good footwork with the confidence to turn over either shoulder and touch to finish off a hook shot with either hand. Palbicki releases the ball high making it very difficult to block, and also has the strength to hold off his defender on one shoulder while finishing with the opposite hand. Defensively I thought he looked a bit quicker moving his feet to get into shot blocking position and did a good job of contesting straight up. Had an impressive block meeting a 6’7 athlete right at the rim, and on another block he sprinted up the floor and ended up picking up a lay-up on the other end.
Playing for a loaded team at HDWD The League, Patrick put together a productive night on Sunday. The 2024 wing is so dangerous both cutting back door and sprinting up the floor in transition because of his ability to elevate off two feet and throw down some powerful dunks. Had three dunks in the game I saw but also flashed a jumper that was falling from three and mid-range. If he can become a consistent threat from around 12 feet he’ll be so tough to stop because of the way he can elevate off the floor making it difficult for most players to contest his jumper.

PJ put together a really nice game to lead his team to a close win on Sunday. He has a strong frame to produce inside, but is also agile enough to make some plays on the wing. Mixed in some physical post scores with transition dunks and a few drives showcasing a solid handle to get all the way to the rim. PJ has above the rim athleticism that he uses to throw down dunks, pull in rebounds, and defend bigger than his size both on the block and as a shot blocking threat. Had a few finishes through contact in which defenders just bounced right off of him because of how strong he attacks the rim.
After a slow start in the first half, Cash started to take over in the second. As always he was a walking highlight in the open floor, throwing down a windmill dunk as well as two other dunks in transition. Defensively he excels at tipping passes or poking the ball free and then taking off to pick up easy buckets. What impressed most though was how smooth his shot was looking from deep. There were times last year where he was hesitant to shoot even open threes, but the confidence and touch looked much better on Sunday as he was repeatedly knocking down pull-up jumpers from deep. If defenders are forced to step out and guard him tight beyond the arc, it could cause trouble because of how quickly he can take off and get to the basket.

Myles put together some nice moments for Eastview as they went 1-1 at Concordia St. Paul. At 6’6 he has good size with the ability to play the 3 or 4 for his team. Nothing flashy about his game, simply hard work on both ends of the floor that leads to consistent production. Myles was running the floor and crashing the glass hard leading to a handful of high percentage looks around the rim each game. Once inside he can explode off two feet and showcased good body control in the air to finish even when taking some bumps. He’s always active off the ball, and is great at beating his man baseline leading to easy dump off passes from his teammates.
Highlights
Dylan took advantage of his speed throughout two games at Concordia St. Paul. Defenses just didn’t have an answer for his ability to weave in and out of defenders to get into dangerous spots. Dylan just continued to find ways to get into the lane where he was excellent at dishing it off to his forwards cutting to the basket. With all the size and athleticism around him, Dylan found ways to put them into positions to succeed around the basket. His jumper was falling at a high level as well, as he has such a smooth release off the dribble with range that extends to well beyond the high school arc. Does a great job of getting his feet squared and elevating on balance even when pulling up on the move.
