Here, we take a look at part two of some of the most athletic players and finishers in the Northern Virginia area.
Bryson Wilson Bryson Wilson 6'5" | SF St Stephen’s And St Agnes | 2023 State VA | 6’5” WF | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes 2023
Wilson is a late bloomer who could have a breakout season at SSSAS the way he played with them during the June Live Period. The 6’5” wing has great size and is a superb athlete as well as he showed highlight reel finishing ability in transition, he got downhill and used his strength and athleticism to finish through traffic and above the rim regularly and he brings great energy to his team with his finishing ability.
Khalil Williams Khalil Williams 6'5" | SG Potomac (McLean, VA) | 2023 State VA | 6’4” WF | The Potomac School 2023
Williams is known as a scorer who can fill it up from all over the court, but he’s really consistent when he can get downhill as he has a mix of body control, touch and athleticism that allows him to finish in number of different ways. The lefty can get out in transition and finish above the rim with authority, he has good hang time and can change his body to finish through contact and he can rise up and rebound or challenge shots defensively.
Isaiah Abraham Isaiah Abraham 6'7" | SG Paul VI | 2024 State #62 Nation VA | 6’5” WG | Paul VI 2024
Abraham is one of those prospects you would describe as a “special” type of athlete, as he’s the definition of a high flyer who is explosive and fearless around the rim and has both authority and flair to the way he finishes. When he gets in transition he’s a walking highlight reel that can throw down dunk contest style dunks with ease, he can get downhill in the half court and challenge defenders at the rim and put them on posters and he can go way up top for lobs even if they aren’t right on the money.
Garrett Sundra Garrett Sundra 6'11" | C Paul VI | 2024 State #148 Nation VA | 6’8” PF | Paul VI 2024
Sundra is perhaps one of the most improved prospects in the DMV from last year, and one thing he’s always done is run the floor hard and now that he’s grown into his body and become more coordinated and explosive it leads to a lot of above the rim finishes for him. He has great length and pop when he’s on the run allowing him to catch lobs in transition, he can attack the glass and get put-backs on misses and he’s improving in his ability to put it on the deck and attack downhill to get to the rim as well.
Miles Franklin Miles Franklin 6'6" | SF St Andrews Episcopal | 2025 State MD | 6’4” WF | Madison 2024
Franklin is one of the top athletes in all of NOVA public schools and showed this summer he could have a breakout year at Madison with his explosion and continued development in his offensive skillset. The 6’4” wing has a good frame with long arms which allows him to rebound and challenge shots, he gets downhill and has good pop and takeoff off of one foot and he isn’t afraid to challenge defenders at the rim with his athleticism.
