One of the first overall attributes that caught our attention about him was how fundamentally sound his game is and the fact that he doesn’t try to force anything. He moves well without the ball, can play in the post, or on the perimeter and is still only scratching the surface of his potential.
The 6’7 Forward prospect didn’t waste any time getting going, as he started off the game hot with several dunks in transition. He’s still a raw prospect but you have to love the upside he has when you combine his height, length and the ability to stretch the floor with his shooting ability.
He impressed us with how aggressive he was from start to finish, constantly attacking whoever was guarding him and scoring at a high rate. Not only was his scoring impressive but he also made a nice impact rebounding the ball and facilitating to teammates.
Another player that understands his role and plays it to the best of his ability, he was big time for his team on the boards on both sides of the floor. He does a nice job of finding a body to box out consistently and doesn’t hesitate about crashing the glass offensively to provide extra possessions.
Provided a nice amount of offense for his team, especially when the team was able to get out into transition to make plays. He understands how to use his athletic ability to make plays above the rim and has all the tools to be a very special defender.
