Eaton was a new face in the Comets rotation that showed confidence shooting the ball from the perimeter. He knocked down six 3-pointers in their sudden-death overtime first-round battle to show off what he could do. He flew around for rebounds defensively and showed he could contribute in other ways as well. He’ll be a solid addition to the Clayton backcourt in 2022-23.
Caleb Surgers – 6’7 Forward – Morrisville Ballers – 2023
Surgers is a name due for a breakout year with the Morrisville Ballers given his athleticism and length. He showed off his ability to attack the rim in the open floor and showed he can be a presence on the interior on both ends of the floor. He’s due for a high debut when rankings update at the end of the month.
Cam Hunter – 6’2 Wing/Forward – 2024 – Morrisville Mob
Hunter was another face in the Morrisville Mob frontcourt that excelled on the glass. He was relentless getting to the boards and did well to clean up on misses for buckets of his own. He showed he could handle the ball and operate on the wing as well. He’s a rising junior name to watch with the Panthers.
Amari Richardson Amari Richardson 5'11" | CG Panther Creek | 2023 State NC – 5’9 Guard – Morrisville Mob – 2023
Richardson is an athletic combo guard that showed he could get a bucket and make things happen when needed as well for the Morrisville Mob (Panther Creek). He’s a rising senior guard that should contribute in a variety of ways given his prowess on both ends of the floor as the Panthers look to return to the state playoffs.
Maleke Green Maleke Green 5'11" | PG South Garner | 2023 NC – 5’10 Guard – G-Town Ballers – 2024
Green is a lead guard with quite the offensive upside in the G-Town Ballers backcourt. He went off for 32 points in their second game of the day to add to his 11-point second half outburst in their first contest. He’s a shifty guard that can operate on all three levels, defend and create opportunities for others making his return to South Garner High.
