Kon II Knueppel Kon II Knueppel 6'6" | SG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2024 State #15 Nation WI — Wisconsin Lutheran
After an outstanding showing on the AAU circuit this past season for Phenom University, Knueppel has secured his spot as the top prospect in Wisconsin’s 2024 class. I love how consistent the shooting guard is. It does not matter the circumstance, Knueppel always seems to have a productive day. He is an excellent three-level scorer who does a really good job of using his 6-foot-5 frame to take advantage of smaller defenders. I really like how Knueppel plays basketball, and I look forward to watching him play in the future.
Bennett Basich Bennett Basich 6'3" | SG Arrowhead | 2024 State WI — Arrowhead
Arrowhead is going to be really good this season. Basich is a major reason why the Warhawks are recognized as one of the better teams in the state. The shooting guard is a pure bucket-getter whose scoring ability puts a lot of pressure and stress on opposing defenders. Basich is a great shooter and ballhandler. This past summer, the SG also showed an ability to get downhill and beat his defender off the dribble. Look for Basich to have a really impressive junior season.
Cole Hansen Cole Hansen 6'4" | SG Legacy Early College | 2024 State SC — Wauwatosa West
Hansen is a prospect who could crack the top ten in Wisconsin’s 2024 rankings very soon. As a catch and shoot shooter, Hansen is elite. When left open from beyond the arc, the Wauwatosa West prospect rarely misfires. As of late, Hansen has also become much more athletic. This past AAU season, the SG was able to make some really flashy, athletic plays. Expect college programs to keep a close eye on Hansen moving forward.
Tim Franks Tim Franks 6'5" | SG Homestead | 2024 State WI — Homestead
There weren’t many prospects who had a better showing this past spring/summer than Franks. Playing for Chapman Basketball Academy, the shooting guard was able to prove himself as one of the better players in Wisconsin’s 2024 class. Franks is an outstanding three-point shooter and finisher around the rim. At the college level, I feel that Franks is a player that can really impact winning.
Cody Schmitz Cody Schmitz 6'4" | SG Gale Ettrick-Trempeleau | 2024 State WI — Gale Ettrick-Trempeleau
Expect Schmitz to put up some huge scoring numbers this upcoming high school season at Gale Ettrick-Trempeleau. This past AAU season, the shooting guard really stood out to me. I really like how Schmitz is always on his game. It doesn’t matter what defenders try to do to him, the SG stays focused and puts the ball in the hoop. College programs need to get on Schmitz as soon as possible.
Ty Fernholz Ty Fernholz 6'2" | SG Stoughton | 2024 State WI — Stoughton
He might not be the most flashy or exciting prospect, but Fernholz flat out gets the job done. The shooting guard played for a really good Wisconsin Blizzard squad this past AAU season and was super impressive. Fernholz is a competitor on both ends of the court. Every time he steps on the court, he plays like it could be his last game.
