#7 | Caden Diggs Caden Diggs 6'7" | SF Bullis | 2024 State #125 Nation MD | Previous Rank: #12
Diggs came into his own as the summer progressed. Some interesting nuggets from his DMV Live numbers: Diggs shot over 90% from the free throw line in 8 games. He also averaged around 1.6 blocks per game. Diggs has as much upside as anyone in the class and is beginning to realize it.
#8 | Malcolm Thomas Malcolm Thomas 6'8" | PF DeMatha | 2024 State #122 Nation MD | Previous Rank: #17
The emergence of Malcolm Thomas Malcolm Thomas 6'8" | PF DeMatha | 2024 State #122 Nation MD was key for DeMatha this summer and will be moving forward. He projects to be one of the more feared paint protectors in the WCAC next season. Thomas averaged over 1.7 blocked shots per game during DMV Live.
#9 | Ty Bevins Ty Bevins 6'5" | SG Gwynn Park | 2024 State #157 Nation MD | Previous Rank: #20
Bevins was one of the biggest stars at DMVelite 80, which was no surprise given his strong run of play to close out the summer. One thing he does at a high level is getting others open shots.
#16 | Lynn King III Lynn King III 6'7" | PF Rock Creek Green | 2024 State MD | Previous Rank: #24
King’s stock rose has been steadily on the rise since his efficient performance at DMV Live. While averaging 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks, he got to the line nearly 6 times in each contest. King’s high work rate combined with his length make him a formidable foe.
#33 | Justin Bumbray Justin Bumbray 6'4" | SG Good Counsel | 2024 State MD | Previous Rank: #75
Bumbray could be in for a breakout season at Good Counsel. He is a three-and-D type of player who gives max effort on every play. Bumbray shot close to 40% from three this summer at DMV Live on relatively high volume.
