Prentice Young Prentice Young 6'4" | CG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2023 State #273 Nation WI — Wisconsin Lutheran
Young is a prospect who really gained a lot of momentum over the past AAU season. The Wisconsin Lutheran point guard is very talented on both ends of the court. Coming off a serious knee injury, I am very impressed with how the PG has bounced back. Young does a really great job of using his size and athletic ability to find success. Any college coaches still looking for a point guard should certainly take a look at Young.
Braden Mcglothlin Braden Mcglothlin 6'0" | PG Catholic Memorial | 2023 State WI — Catholic Memorial
McGlothlin is no-doubt one of the best pure passers in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. The Catholic Memorial point guard just has a knack for finding open teammates. Because of his ability to get others involved in the offense, there are not many players I would rather have lead an offense than McGlothlin. While McGlothlin certainly is a talented passer, he has no problem scoring on his own. He is a very good shooter and capable of getting buckets at the rim.
Matthew Schmainda Matthew Schmainda 6'2" | CG Brookfield East | 2023 State WI — Brookfield East
Already holding a scholarship offer from Hillsdale, Schmainda is a prospect that has caught the eye of college coaches. The Brookfield Central standout is a talented shooter and tremendous defender. I really love the effort that Schmainda plays with. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, you can count on the PG giving it his all. Expect Schmainda to have a huge senior season at Brook East.
Arhman Lewis Arhman Lewis 5'9" | PG Madiosn Laffollette | 2023 State WI — Madison La Follette
Lewis — who recently committed to Augustana — is poised to have an exceptional senior season. I really love how the Madison La Follette standout is able to his team’s offense. He just is so solid in the backcourt. Whenever his team needs a big play, Lewis almost always steps up. I love how Lewis is able to balance putting up big-time scoring numbers while also passing really well.
Collin Madson Collin Madson 6'4" | PG Mukwonago | 2023 State WI — Mukwonago
Even though Madson doesn’t have the flashiest game, he still is very effective on the court. He scores well around the rim and is also very talented as a passer. This past AAU season, Madson also proved himself as a top-tier shooter. When left open from three, Madson is capable of getting hot in a hurry. Playing for Mukwonago this winter, look for Madson to have a breakout season.
Danny Staskunas Danny Staskunas 6'1" | PG West Allis Hale | 2023 State WI — West Allis Hale
Staskunas is going to turn heads this upcoming season at West Allis Hale. The point guard is a knockdown shooter who puts a lot of pressure on opposing defenders. If Staskunas is able to get hot from deep, the PG can be really fun to watch. When Staskunas is on the court, his team seems to play so much better.
Braylen Blue Braylen Blue 6'3" | PG Madison Memorial | 2023 State WI — Madison Memorial
Blue has been highly-touted now for awhile now. The Madison Memorial point guard wasn’t done any favors by the pandemic and never really got a chance to show off all his skills. But this past AAU season, Blue had a very strong showing. Standing at 6-foot-4, Blue has great positional size. He also has some serious skill. Blue is an excellent passer and budding scorer.
