The state’s premier charge taker has gotten better and better each year as a scorer. A very good shooter, Etter excelled this offseason off the bounce, getting to his tear drop floater.
(Up from No. 72) A breakout season is upcoming for Justin Mccarter Justin Mccarter 6’4″ | SF Osborne | 2023 State GA . He’s a smooth 6-foot-5 wing that creates off the dribble. Justin gets to his spots effortlessly and rises to fire over defenders. The three-level scorer can get a bucket downhill and has the athleticism to finish with authority. He’s got value defensively with his length and mobility.
(Up from No. 56) Hoover is a high motor, springy forward that plays above the rim. Micah is a double-double threat nightly. He uses his athleticism to play bigger than his height. Hoover causes mismatches with his ability to beat opposing big men off the dribble. He’s effective in the high post and can knock down the open three.
(Up from No. 62) Jeremiah Holloway Jeremiah Holloway 6’1″ | CG Winder-Barrow | 2023 State GA has the firepower to score with anybody. He’s a physicaly strong guard that explodes to the rim and embraces contact while doing so. Holloway lights it up with deep range off the dribble and is a sneaky good playmaker that sees the floor.
(Up from No. 64) Chattanooga nabbed Noah Melson Noah Melson 6’3″ | PG Alexander | 2023 State GA this summer. Melson is an upside play that really thrived in June and July. He’s a big guard that facilitates and can hit the perimeter jumper.
(Up from No. 66) Ice has a smooth game. He never looks rushed on the floor. Christian has a pretty jump shot. He gets to his spots in the mid-range using clean footwork and will turn corners and finish through contact when needed. Burnett finds ways to impact games outside of scoring with his rebounding and defense.
