Last seaosn they brought in a few players that really excelled their senior year and some even landed on college rosters. Players like Kam DuPiax, Brady Smith, Luke Moir, Sam Sivulich, Tyler Burraston and McCoy Langston just to name a few.
This year the field has been set with a tone as a few of the top players in the state have already confirmed that they will play. Here are the next 10 players that have been selected thus far. We will cover the next 10 when they are out.
Diego Mulford Diego Mulford 5'10" | PG American Fork | 2024 State UT || Cyprus High School || 2024 ||
12 PPG: Check this kid out, he hit 91 three-pointers last year and everyone knew it was coming, they still couldn’t stop him. This kid is a difference maker as he uses that 3 ball better than most.
Ace Reiser Ace Reiser 6'0" | PG Alta | 2024 State UT || Bingham High School || 2024 ||
Ace is a solid PG and he is no lower than a D2 player right now. He can destroy defenders on an island and he is getting stronger and he has unlimited energy. This kid will average 15, 5, 5 and 2.
Carson Smith Carson Smith 6'6" | CG Bountiful | 2024 State UT || Bountiful High School || 2024 ||
13 PPG 4 APG: Carson is a sleeper guard over at Bountiful. He quietly averaged some solid numbers, excited to see him compete among some of the best in the state.
Malcom Johnson Malcom Johnson 6'6" | SF Herriman | 2024 State UT || Herriman High School || 2024 ||
Malcom passes that eye test. Not a lot of wins at his high school but that can change this year as he has really developed an all-around game and he has the skills that can be very much used at the next level.
Ashton Wallace Ashton Wallace 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2023 State UT || American Fork High School || 2023 ||
Ashton is a winner and he is very skilled. Like his outside game and all-around potential at the next level. Major player that will be a big reason AF makes another title run.
Yorgio Golesis Yorgio Golesis 5'10" | SG Skyline | 2023 State UT || Skyline High School || 2023 ||
One of the more electric and explosive guards in the class. He will surprise you with his game. He is a little dude but he is built and can absolutely score the ball.
Paul Beattie Paul Beattie 6'9" | PF Farmington | 2024 State UT || Farmington High School || 2024 ||
Not too many players in the class are better than Paul and he has been a major glue guy for the best club team in the state and he heads back to his high school where he will play a significant role.
Nash Schroeder Nash Schroeder 6'2" | PG Pine View | 2024 State UT || Pine View High School || 2024 ||
A solid guard out in the South that will have an opportunity to put it on the line against the big city kids. Excited to see him compete.
Jaxon Johnson Jaxon Johnson 6'8" | SF Alta | 2024 State #106 Nation UT || Alta High School || 2024 ||
Jaxon is one of the highest stock rising forwards in the country with his three-level scoring game. He is a killer from deep but he dominates down on the blocks too. Top 5 kid and a no brainer D1 kid.
Souleymane Barro Souleymane Barro 6'7" | SF Layton Christian | 2023 State UT || Layton Christian Academy || 2023 ||
This kid is a must watch kid and he is going to sow what he can do against some of the better players in the state. Might be off the radar but he will put some people on notice because he is better than most of the forwards in the 6A and 5A classifications.
