6 – Moroni Seely-Roberts Moroni Seely-Roberts 6'6" | SF Lincoln | 2023 State OR (2023 Lincoln)
If there were any questions that the big offensive numbers Seely-Roberts would translate from 3A to 6A, they were quickly answered as the 6-foot-6 rising senior was one of the top scoring threats in the state (24.2 ppg). He remained a force offensively on the AAU circuit, starting with the Oregon Prospects and then playing with a Lincoln school-centered team coached by his mom and coach, Heather Seely-Roberts. Seely-Roberts is hard to handle around the hoop and has become a threat from distance, especially at the top of the circle.
7 – Malachi Seely-Roberts Malachi Seely-Roberts 6'8" | SF Lincoln | 2023 State OR (2023 Lincoln)
Like his twin brother, Seely-Roberts proved that his skills translated to the highest level of high school basketball in Oregon and wound up among the state’s leaders in assists (6.0) and three-point shooting (.409). With his 6-foot-8 height and ability to hit shots from well beyond the three-point line, he’s a matchup nightmare and he showed moments of brilliance this spring and summer. Both he and his brother continue to be on “watch and see” lists of college programs at all levels.
8 – Malik Brown Malik Brown 6'0" | PG Tigard | 2023 State OR (2023 Tigard)
Brown established himself as one of the top point guards in the state as a junior. The 6-foot floor leader has the right balance of scoring for himself (15.4 ppg) and getting teammates involved (4.5 apg) and has consistently brought energy on the defensive end (2.5 spg). An area where he’s improved has been his consistency from the perimeter (.415 3pt%) and he should be primed for a big senior season.
9 – Kalim Brown Kalim Brown 6'0" | CG Tigard | 2023 State OR (2023 Tigard)
While he’s still plenty capable of playing at the point, Brown has settled into more of role of a shooting guard and for good reason – he knows how to score. That was indicative this past season as he notched a 40-point game, catching fire with his patented one-dribble pull-up jumper. The 6-foot guard is also adept at getting to the hoop and scoring and as one of the top returning point producers in the state (19.5 ppg) there’s no reason to believe he won’t continue getting buckets as a senior.
10 – Josiah Lake Josiah Lake 6'1" | PG Tualatin | 2023 State OR (2023 Tualatin)
Lake is the new name in the top ten for the Class of 2023 and it’s well deserved as his stock has been on the rise ever since the 6A state tournament where he earned First Team All-Tournament honors. The 6-foot-1 point guard is a high flyer in transition, can hit from three, and is one of the best inch-for-inch rebounders in the entire state. He turned heads playing AAU basketball with Team Fly and college coaches will be watching him closely this season as he takes on a leading role for the defending champion Timberwolves.
