Adegbenro is an emerging name that is poised for a true breakout during his senior campaign. Coach Hawes runs plenty of sets to get him in comfortable spots to score and we expect him to take advantage.
Barbour was one of the biggest stock risers of the summer and is heading into his junior year with plenty of positive momentum. Based on what we saw him do on the circuit, he should have no problem putting up big numbers while leading his team to wins.
Highlights
Bass-Briscoe emerged as the alpha dog for his grassroots team this summer while playing at a consistently high level. He is one of the better guards in Northern Virginia and should improve on his scoring average of 14 points per game.
Highlights
Last year at St. Charles, Jones averaged roughly 16 points per game. It’s yet to be seen what type of role he will have at Grace Brethren, but we anticipate productivity.
King is a key returner for the unbeaten state champs. He has sticky hands, a relentless work rate, and uncanny touch. Not many teams have been able to contain King in the past. Why would that change during his senior year?
Mensah averaged 14 points per game for the Trojans last year as part of a dynamic duo with Ben Bradford Ben Bradford 6’2″ | SG Gaithersburg | 2023 State MD . On a given night he is certainly capable of dropping 20 plus.
Quigley quietly averaged close to 14 points per game for the Mustangs last year. They are a balanced squad, but he should command ample usage. Look for Quigley to get to his spots and score efficiently as he has done in the past.
Whitehead jumped off the page a season ago by dropping 17 points per game for the Bulldogs. Given the significant losses to his team, he will likely be in a position to improve on that number for next season.
