Alexander Parks Alexander Parks 5'8" | PG Withrow | 2023 State OH , 5’8 PG Withrow 2023: Parks is one of the toughest point guards in the state and what he lacks in size, he makes up for with toughness and heart. Parks works hard to move his feet defensively and give opposing point guards trouble. Parks also is a pass first point guard, who looks to get his teammates involved before scoring. I like Parks ability to get into the paint by using change of pace and then shoot a floater or dish to a teammate. Parks is a prospect that a lot of small schools have already shown interest in.
Parker Davidson Parker Davidson 6'3" | SG Bradford Exempted Village | 2023 State OH , 6’2 SG Bradford 2023: Davidson was one of the top scorers in the state as a Junior, feasting on small town competition in western Ohio. Davidson has solid size for an off guard and can light up the scoreboard. Davidson is an excellent shooter from the outside, able to get hot in a hurry. The lefty can also use his threat of shooting to get defenders in the air and either get to the rack or shoot a mid-range pull-up. If small colleges need a scorer who can light it up from the outside, Davidson should be high on their recruiting boards. Davidson was also a constant standout on the Prep Hoops Circuit.
Darius Davis Darius Davis 5'10" | PG Maple Heights | 2023 State OH , 5’10 PG Parma 2023: Davis was an electrifying scorer in northeast Ohio and one of the quickest players I evaluated in the state. Davis is a microwave type point guard who looks to score from the paint or from the outside. I have some questions about Davis ability on the defensive end, considering his height and size. Davis is a prospect I’d like to see some more of because the flashes I saw were intriguing and seeing him in with Parma in a regular season game would be a better evaluation setting.
Sean Mckitrick Sean Mckitrick 6'2" | SG Archbishop Carroll | 2023 State OH , 6’3 SG Dayton Carroll 2023: McKitrick is one of the top shooters in the entire state, with deep range well beyond the 3-point line. McKitrick had multiple games with four or five 3-pointers that I saw this spring with Dayton Elite, showcasing his elite off-ball shooting ability. McKitrick was one of the top scorers in the GCL-Co Ed last season and is projected to be near the top again as a senior. I’d like to see McKitrick hit the weight room heavy this fall, getting stronger, quicker and more explosive before his senior season to expand his game even more.
Marvin Good Marvin Good 6'1" | CG Hughes | 2023 State OH , 6’1 CG Hughes 2023: Good was a prospect I saw down in Kentucky during the first June live period and was impressed with his leadership of his squad. Good was the most confident ball-handler and showed outside shooting flashes in the games I saw. Good also stands out on the football field and it’s easy to see why with his quickness, strength and overall athleticism. Good had multiple impressive takes to the basket and finished around the rim with jump stops and spin moves.
