Potter has plenty of D1 suitors. It’s just a matter of picking a school when the time comes. Reece has a sweet shooting stroke despite not being able to show that on the EYBL this summer. The 7 footer is the best available 2023 in Kentucky.
Like Potter, Cyr holds multiple D1 offers and could add more over the high school season if he doesn’t commit in the fall. Malonga is a pure 5 man who thrives in the dunker spot on offense and protecting the rim on defense.
At 7’3, Gabe is the tallest prospect Kentucky has seen in a while. He has a D1 offer from Youngstown State and a D2 offer from Emory and Henry. It remains to be seen if he’ll commit early or wait and see if he adds offers over the high school season.
Trent has an offer from Morehead State along with multiple NAIA offers. He’s very skilled at 6’8 and has shown he can be a high level rim protector. His recruitment has been kind of baffling as he should have multiple D1 offers by now, in my opinion.
Highlights
A high academic and high IQ big with preferred walk on offers to multiple D1s, Todd should be getting attention from scholarship level schools at the D2 and NAIA level. The 6’8 big has worked to become more comfortable on the wing recently also.
Highlights
Legitimately 6’9 with wingspan to match, Brooks has D1 written all over him but hasn’t seen those offers come his way yet. He’d be a steal for a good D2 or NAIA school at this point.
Highlights
Another skilled big at 6’8, Crew has interest from every level of college but is waiting on his first offer. Able to play down low or face up as a playmaker, Gibson can be a serious matchup problem for opposing bigs to guard.
