Trey’Dez Green (LA Broncos 16U)
Green was the best big man on the Prep Hoops Circuit regardless of age this year. He closed out the summer with a big event. At times he is completely unguardable with his combination of quickness, power, and athleticism on the block. Spin move is a lethal move. Rim runs with the best of them and can push off the defensive glass on his own starting the break. High level rebounder and shot blocker. Flashes potential as a shooter. High-major top 100 caliber prospect!
Asher Wade (Iowa Barnstormers 16U)
Wade is a true five man in the 2024 class that has an excellent frame and knows how to anchor down low. Soft touch and sound footwork in the paint. Good offensive rebounder for put backs and works well in the dunker spot for conversions. Runs the floor pretty well too.
Connor Castro (SABO 17U)
Thick bodied post from Texas that rebounded very well in his area while also converting dump off passes and even showed some touch on a three from the top of the key.
Dallas Bear (Iowa Barnstormers 17U)
Bear is a skilled face up four man that when he is on can carry an offense. Pick/pop threes, mid-range shots, and spot up triples on the regular. Decent athlete that can handle it from the high-post.
Chiang Ring (Minnesota Spartans 16U)
Huge fan of this big man from the Minnesota Spartans. Saw him earlier in his career and like how his game has progressed. Great strength and athleticism combination. Plus offensive rebounder that crashes them for second chance points. Monster finisher out of the dunker spot. Rim runs for more points getting up and down the floor with ease. Major factor on the defensive end with how well he blocks shots and rebounds on that end of the floor. Mid-major prospect no doubt with high-major upside.
Emiliano Barrantes (Minnesota Spartans 16U)
Barrantes played well next to Ring as a five man. Long arms allowed him to rebound well in traffic. Got up and down the floor and finished on quick passes inside.
Grgur Brcic (D1 Indiana 17U)
Legit five man that was super impressive with how well he played above the rim throwing down alley oops, tip dunks, and poster slams. Some of the most thunderous slams in the tournament came from this big man from D1 Indiana. Doing a prep year and we could see him being a low-major guy after that.
EJ Walker (Midwest Basketball Club 15U)
Walker was one of the highest ceiling prospects at the event. He is a four man that showed skill on the block with spin moves then stretched the floor with a three, one dribble pull up, and a baseline jumper. Screams high-major big man long term!
