There is a lot to like about Sullivan. He is another Inside-Outside big man who finishes in traffic consistently; The Mikan drills were on display. Overall, he was efficient and patient in the post. He even stepped out to the 3pt line and showed the ability to knock it down as well. He posed as a solid rim protector and rebounder. Sullivan was not shy to switch on a guard as he was willing to compete. Good talent for the class of 2024.

A 6’2 gritty, two-way player recently transitioned to Potter’s House in the SIAA. This young man is tough as nails. He communicates like it is second nature to him defensively. Swift doesn’t shy away from the best player on the other team as he was looking for him each time while playing defense. His most underrated trait is his ability to be a leader; he was putting guys in places and running the show accordingly.
I was highly impressed with his pace and aggressiveness with the basketball. Known for his perimeter shooting, Smith had the basketball on a string as he maintained control in and out of traffic. Displayed the ability to find open guys on an extra pass or ball reversal. Here is another solid talent for the class of 2024.

Albert Laguerre
Albert Laguerre
His skill set is an interesting one. Laguerre is another swiss army knife that is prevalent at Andrew Jackson High. He was all over the place but in a good way. Lead the break after rebounding in traffic over taller defenders. He excelled in transition. Laguerre is a versatile defender; He hustled back a few times to contest and block shots without fouling.
Jackson is a talent for the class of 2025 to watch. He has a quick first step and gets to the paint with ease. Jackson would grab rebounds and advance the ball up the court quickly as possible, finding the open man. Excellent vision. He has a good IQ already at his age. Jackson didn’t shoot many shots, but that’s not a negative. He was very team-oriented and found the open man time and time again.
Benoit, a 2025 athletic forward, is one that had a good showing yesterday. Benoit was arguably the best player in the 2025/2026 group. He was aggressive, really played fluid, and showed an ability to put the ball in the basket. He picked his shots well and didn’t settle for a low percentage shot; Benoit was blowing by his matchup to the paint and passed up on a few open 3s to get a higher percentage shot. His second chance plays after a missed shot stood out as well.

Trace Westercamp
Trace Westercamp
The 2026 big man made a great first impression at the camp during session one. He is a legit 6-6 with a solid frame. Westercamp displayed a great work ethic and ability to get after it stood out to me. He has solid post work already at his age, decent motor, and finishes gracefully around the basket. He even stepped outside the paint and knocked down a few perimeter jumpers; Touch was nice and soft. Also, underrated rim protector as well. He is a kid to watch for Creekside moving into the fall and regular season.

Hunstad is an incoming freshman for the first-year program. He played with a good pace at all times yesterday. His ability to not do too much but still get the job done didn’t get overlooked. I like his versatility on both ends of the court. His quick hands and excellent timing allowed him to pick-pocket his opponents multiple times.
