Summer Stock Rising Bigs 2023

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A few Bigs here making some moves as this summer they look to raise their stock and a few have really done a good job at that. This list has players with different things to offer up coaches and programs at the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>6'9 [player_tooltip player_id='934024' first='Aaron' last='Dunne'] || American Fork High School || 2023 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Aaron is a big body big that can really hurt teams inside with his solid deep post positioning. He is tough to stop as he can get that quick shot off before the defense can really contest it. Nice patience on the block as he can use some jabs and footwork to get some high quality and high percentage shots to go in the paint. Aaron is running the floor a lot better this summer which has helped him establish good low post positioning early on during their teams offensive break. Working on that jumper and it keeps getting better. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>6'10 [player_tooltip player_id='1046138' first='Kean' last='Webb'] || American Fork High School || 2023 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kean is a solid big that is a sleeper in this class as he has size and outstanding shooting ability. He has been hearing from a few D1's but this kid could really be a serviceable big at a high level. Great wingspan that allows him to contest shots and rebound and he also has a high IQ that you see in his passing, the way he moves and how he positions himself. Really played well for UBC this spring and summer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>6'9 [player_tooltip player_id='934041' first='Lyman' last='Simmons'] || RSL Academy || 2023 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lyman was an early stock riser when he was a freshman and sophomore and his recruiting has somewhat cooled off but he is making some moves that will benefit him and his recruiting moving forward. First, he is playing with RSL Academy for his senior season which attracts a lot of coaches and he will be able to prove himself against some quality bigs. no knock on 4A but this is a step up for him. He held his own on Vegas elite but he is really going to continue to improve this high school season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>6'8 [player_tooltip player_id='1199505' first='Isaac' last='Garrett'] || Pleasant Grove High School || 2023 ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Isaac is a big that is more of a stretch 4 as he can defend a lot of positions because he moves so well laterally. Really like how has been competing all summer as he is getting a lot of looks and he is getting noticed by programs for his play. Blocks shots and runs the floor. He has been a stock riser and he could be a big piece in what PG ends up doing with a deep run at state. Isaac can shoot the three and face up up on the blocks.
