With so many great programs featuring talented prospects it is quite the daunting task to try and give everyone the coverage they deserve. Especially with teams spread out across different circuits it can be hard to find a natural way to efficiently break down everything. I’ve decided that the easiest way to do this, and provided the most individual coverage, will be to simply go team-by-team across the state. This exercise will run through the end of August so be patient as we work through all of the teams. With a rankings update coming at the beginning of the month we will have a lot of other content being pushed out as well.
In these program spotlights we will feature a top prospect, a top stock-riser, and an under-the-radar name. Then, I will simply empty out the notebook with some other thoughts and takeaways that have been compiled over the last few months as it pertains to that team. Let’s dive on in.
Top Prospect: Luke Almodovar Luke Almodovar 6'2" | SG Noblesville | 2023 State IN (Noblesville H.S. 2023/Indiana Elite Team Indiana 2023)
This left-handed guard can flat out score the basketball. He seemed to get better throughout the spring and summer as well finishing with some of his best basketball yet. Almodovar is an excellent athlete, has a smooth pull-up jump shot, and can get to the basket consistently off of the dribble. His ability to score from all three levels of the floor efficiently makes him a very tough cover for opposing defenses. The 6’2″ guard currently holds only an offer from Judson but has interest ranging between all levels of college basketball. Almodovar should have a breakout senior season and is certainly a candidate to see his recruitment take a leape
Top Stock-Riser: Wyatt Zellers Wyatt Zellers 6'9" | PF Scottsburg | 2024 State IN (Scottsburg H.S. 2024/Indiana Elite Team Indiana 2024)
The mixture of size and perimeter shooting ability is something that college coaches are always on the hunt for. Zellers brings both of those in spades as a 6’8″ forward who can stretch the floor out beyond the three-point arc. He was a constant threat throughout the summer for Team Indiana’s 2024 group which had a ton of success while playing on the Adidas Gold Gauntlet. Zellers has continued to get physically stronger which helps his game around the basket, but still is at his best as a catch-and-shoot or pick-and-pop threat from three-point range. Will likely be garnering interest from all levels heading into his junior season at Scottsburg.
Under-the-Radar Name: Ian Raasch Ian Raasch 6'6" | PF NorthWood | 2023 State IN (NorthWood H.S. 2023/Indiana Elite Team Indiana 2023)
Raasch brings a combination of size, athleticism, and skill that is really intriguing when projecting him to the next level. At 6’5″ with a very sturdy frame he can bang around the basket with opponents of great size while still possessing the foot speed and agility to drive from the perimeter. Raasch is an outstanding finisher around the basket with both hands and has shown the ability to drive it in either direction from the wings. He is very dangerous in transition as well. Plays hard, rebounds, and showcases the potential to guard multiple positions. Seems like a ready-made prospect for the Crossroads Leaguee

He is a very good three-point shooter who also flashed all-around playmaking ability as a primary ball handler at times.
- We mentioned his older brother earlier, but 6’6″ forward Tyler Raasch Tyler Raasch 6'8" | C NorthWood | 2025 State IN (NorthWood H.S. 2025) is a really intriguing long-term prospect.
