There was a lot of movement with all the new prospects but we want to also highlight the prospects that made our initial rankings and moved up. This article will feature five wings who made moves up the rankings.
Jones is an elite wing prospect as the state champion had an even bigger spring with All Ohio Red 15 U. An impressive transition athlete, Jones has all the physical tools needed to be a highly impactful defender. Jones also shoots the ball at a high level from 3-point range and has added some off the bounce creation. I project Jones as a 3 and D specialist at the high major level as he’s already picked up offers from programs like Ohio State, Cincinnati, Arizona State and more.
Another high major level prospect, Greer has also picked up a bunch of high major offers before the start of his Sophomore season. One of the purest shooters in the state, Greer was very productive for Midwest Basketball Club 3SSB 15 U this spring and summer. Greer uses his size well and can score both on and off the ball by running off screens or creating for himself. Greer comes from a basketball family as his Dad starred for the University of Pittsburgh (one of Greer’s high major offers) and overseas for over a decade.
Fisher is another 3SSB standout as he stood out next to Jerry Easter II Jerry Easter II 6’5″ | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #55 Nation IN for Super Friendz 15 U. Fisher provides size on the wing and is efficient with the shots he takes both at the high school and grassroots level. I’m impressed with the growth I’ve seen from Fisher after I watched him for the first time in December of his freshman season to this spring and summer. If Fisher can continually improve, there’s a chance he ends up as a high major level prospect.
West had one of the most cold-blooded moments I’ve seen from a high schooler, let alone a freshman in the playoffs. West hit a 35 foot bank shot at the buzzer to send rival Toledo St John’s home for the season in a thrilling game. West also had a good spring with All Ohio Red 15 U, continuing to show he can produce against some of the top prospects in Ohio and the country. I want to see West continue to evolve his guard skills and progress with how he creates space with the dribble and makes plays for others. His athleticism and scoring ability have impressed me as he’s clearly one of the most talented and productive players in Ohio’s 2025 class. Between West Jr and Jerry Easter II Jerry Easter II 6’5″ | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #55 Nation IN , Toledo is back on the map with marquee prospects in the midwest.
