Nearly 200 of the top Class of 2026 prospects in the state took part in the event with a ton of area scouts and AAU coaches taking in all of the action. Our team at Prep Hoops Indiana including myself, Kyler Staley, and Landon Bundy will be putting out an evaluation of every single prospect in attendance throughout the course of this week. Let’s dive on into breaking down the prospects on Team 12.
A 5’10” point guard with good quickness in the open floor, Foster showed his talent with the ball in his hands on Sunday. He can make plays in transition, plays with good pace in the half court, and can score it off of the dribble.
Stephens Jr. is a smaller point guard at 5’7″ but makes up for it with a tight handle and good quickness. He showed the ability to play without turning it over on Sunday, read the defense in ballscreen situations well, and got to the basket off of the bounce consistently.
Day is a super-skilled smaller point guard that can score in a variety of ways from all three levels on the floor. The 5’7″ playmaker shot it well on Sunday, made plays off of the bounce, and displayed active hands on the defensive end of the floor.
This 5’7″ point guard from Crown Point has excellent court vision, made several really impressive passes, and showcased his all-around offensive skill level throughout the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase on Sunday. Talented lead guard.
A very quick point guard, Peters got to the rim consistently on Sunday scoring it himself and making good plays for his teammates. The 5’9″ Peters was very good defensively as well showcasing active hands when guarding the ball.
One of the more talented guards in the gym on Sunday. Hinton can create open shots for himself off the bounce with his tight handle and shiftiness with the ball. The 5’10” guard has a smooth pull-up jumper and some explosiveness getting to the rim. Very talented offensive player.
