Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase GameChangers
In this article:
A recurring segment after each Prep Hoops Circuit event will be our GameChangers series. Bringing you the best scorekeeping, live video streaming, and team management services of any mobile app on the market, GameChanger is a product every grassroots team in the country can use to better serve their players and their families.
So, what makes a Prep Hoops “GameChanger?” That is up to the eyes of the beholder. It may be an additional top performer still leftover from our prior event coverage. A player who made a key play that swung the game or maybe knocked in a game-winning shot could be highlighted here. Or, it simply could be a prospect that brought all of the intangibles to the table that led his team to victory. Let’s dive on in and highlight some of the GameChangers from our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.
Edwards doesn’t stand out physically yet at just 5’7″, but his play speaks for itself the longer you watch. He really stood out during a stretch towards the end of the showcase on Sunday afternoon knocking in a handful of pull-up jumpers after pushing the pace in transition. The left-handed point guard has a good looking shooting stroke and plays with enough pace to shake loose from the defense despite his smaller stature. A name to remember at Park Tudor as he grows and continues to develop.
This 5’11” point guard showed off his playmaking ability throughout the day at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. L’homme has a tight handle that he uses to break down the defense and can either create for others with good court vision or finish himself at the basket. Displayed good quickness in a straight line and some shiftiness to his game in the half court. Attending Fishers High School.
Highlights
Elmore really turned some heads from those in attendance on Sunday. His physical tools are clear right away at 6’2″ with good strength and obvious athleticism. He also showed off strong driving ability and some versatility on both ends of the floor. Definitely was one of the better wings in the gym at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and will be a name to remember at Avon over the next few years.
