Games were competitive all day and several players burst on the scene for the first time. Here’s a look at some of the high upside prospects at the event.
Bell had a good start to the day and remained consistent all morning and afternoon on Saturday. Ethan has good length and showed a well rounded skill level with his ability to make timely passes and knock down shots. His frame is long and lean and looks like he isn’t done growing yet. Look for him to be a name to know in the 7th region down the line.
Cayon didn’t show a ton on Saturday and his day ended early due to an ankle roll but you can see the potential he has. Gaines has good size and showed a solid basketball IQ. Once he realizes he has the physical tools to be a difference maker, Cayon could be one of the best 2026 prospects in Louisville.
Highlights
Simon is a prototypical wing prospect who looks like he could keep growing and become another Carter Hendricksen type of player for LCA. King showed off solid playmaking ability with the ball in his hands and was able to score the ball at every level. LCA is very young again this season but he could push for varsity playing time this winter.
Highlights
Parsons looked like one of the more refined players at the event on Saturday. Meaning his game is pretty polished as you can tell with his skill level and ability to score the ball. Carter didn’t have a ton of chances to show his playmaking as his team was pretty guard heavy but he did prove he can get to the rim and score or knock down deep triples.
