The event featured some highly-rated prospects from the West, South, Midwest and East regions of the United States. Below are the top big men we saw in Saturday’s action.
Andrew Fielder Andrew Fielder 6'9" | PF Southern California Academy | 2023 #74 Nation CA-S , Southern California Academy
Fielder put together quite the performance for the Midwest squad, scoring a team-high 26 points on 12 of 14 shooting in 30 minutes of action. The 6-foot-9 forward had all of his offensive tools on display, connecting on trail and pick-and-pop threes, slashing to the basket in transition, scoring in post-up situations and facing up and knocking down mid-range shots.
Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN , Kokomo (IN)
Bidunga set the tone early for the Midwest team as his high motor, physicality and interior scoring and rebounding got the Midwest out to a quick lead. The 6-foot-10, class of 2024 center showed off his impressive hands around the basket and looked to dunk everything at the rim. Bidunga rises up and grabs rebounds at their peak, throws a quick outlet pass to guards and runs the middle of the floor looking for a drop off pass for a dunk.
Jayden Hastings Jayden Hastings 6'9" | PF Orlando Christian Prep | 2023 State #120 Nation FL , IMG Academy (FL)
Hastings was a beast of a rim protector on Saturday. The 6-foot-9 center finished with six blocks in the South’s win over the West and really controlled the paint defensively when he was in. Hastings was really good at staying vertical on contest when protecting the rim and blocked shots in a variety of ways from traditional, to chase down, to weak-side help blocks.
Pharaoh Compton Pharaoh Compton 6'7" | PF Arbor View | 2024 State #74 Nation NV , Arizona Compass Prep
Compton’s favorite thing to do is dunk and he did plenty of that for the West squad in its loss. The 6-foot-6, class of 2024 forward is a physical specimen whose powerful frame and quick leaping ability off the floor allows him to rise and finish over rim protectors. Compton scored 24 points on the game, 20 of those coming on 10 rim-rattling slam dunks.
Zayden High Zayden High 6'9" | PF AZ Compass Prep | 2023 State #40 Nation AZ , Arizona Compass Prep
High had his offensive versatility on full-display. The 6-foot-9 four man has great mobility in transition and has the dexterity to catch, gather and finish at the rim in one motion. What set High apart from some other bigs in Saturday’s action was his execution in pick-and-roll action. High scored out of traditional middle rolls, hit pick-and-pop threes and got his defender to bite on a shot fake which opened up a driving lane he took for a dunk. High finished with 16 points and nine rebounds.
