Jacey Canalin Jacey Canalin 5'7" | PG Wells | 2024 State OR (2024 Wells)
Canalin might have been the top in-state performer we saw at camp. The point guard was in control of the game whenever he had the basketball, scoring himself off the drive at the hoop or with the floater, or creating for others. His ability to use his shiftiness to slow down and accelerate off the dribble past his defender is one of the best in the state. His outside shot wasn’t totally clicking but he hit enough from the perimeter to keep the defense honest.
Charles Kapranos Charles Kapranos 6'4" | SF Grant | 2024 State OR (2024 Grant)
Kapronos was one of the best inside-outside threats in the gym. The rising junior used his strength and body to get buckets inside, either creating off the dribble and finishing or off the post-up. He also faced up and hit mid-range jumpers. There’s no doubt in our mind he will have a major role at Grant this season under new coach Dondrale Campbell.
TJ Latu TJ Latu 6'3" | CG Jefferson | 2024 State OR (2024 Jefferson)
Another day another solid performance from Latu, who like he did at Portland State camp mostly played at the point. He used his strong body to power past defenders to get into the lane and dish out to open shooters, while using his own smooth lefty stroke to hit some jumpers of his own.
Rocco Graziano Rocco Graziano 6'1" | PG Sheldon | 2025 State OR (2025 Sheldon)
We liked what we saw out of Graziano, who simply made good basketball plays all camp long. He played turnover free basketball, had a great sense of when to pass or look for his own offense, and displayed a nice shooting touch out past the three-point line.
Nate Stiffler Nate Stiffler 6'4" | SF Thurston | 2025 State OR (2025 Thurston)
There’s a lot to like with Stiffler who had a sweet shooting touch to go along with good length at about 6-foot-4. He wasn’t just a standstill shooter at camp however as he also was able to show that he could create off the dribble a bit and also was effective with his mid-range pull-up.
